Electric motorcycles in Pakistan

The electric motor spins at a very high rpm, and typically you have to step it down using a gear box. That's just one of the many reasons why a gear box along with possibly some means of transmission (rod/chain) are needed to convey the power between the motor and wheel, and also to decouple them, meaning if the motor stops the wheel does not abruptly come to a halt.

Direct connection between motor and wheel is very bad design. So I for one am not surprised that they still have the gearbox from the internal combustion engine bike.

They don't look cool.

They look cool on Harley Davidsons.

A bike without side mirrors should be illegal in countries like pakistan. Without side mirrors, i see bikers turning their head all the way back to see the traffic behind when you can just glance it in the mirror. Isnt the simple and less dangerous for everyone?

And turn signals too, god. A car driver can’t guess which way you are going to go. Stop the zig zaging and put on the turn signals like normal human beings.

If I'm not mistaken, Pakistan still suffers from load-shedding.

I hope you know, people have invested heavily in UPS and fuel fired generators, during Zardari rule.
Previous govt. built many power plants, PTI acknowledged it by rewarding it's own minister about 6 months ago.
Don't know, what's the situation these days.
