Definitely not video games or movies. A game is just a game to play for fun. It's people detached from reality that lack self control. That's why God encourages us to struggle against our self to avoid sins. But, also to have a healthy and optimal mindset. If you let yourself go with sins, you develop an unhealthy mindset. And all that is left is having political motivations or frustration about your life + gun is recipe for disaster. If you know you are not mentally stable then don't buy a gun. It requires an individual effort by people too.

Btw, the police killed this Ohio shooter within a minute of the shooting, otherwise he could have killed more. But, it's very strange why someone wearing body armor and attacking a bar for no reason. All these people doing this are suicidal and given up on life. And taking anger out at society. They need help from society with whatever issues they are facing. Professional help doesn't cut it, they need support from family/friends.
