PESHAWAR: At least eight people were injured as a blast rocked Peshawar’s Noor Medical Centre on Friday.

According to sources, the injured, three of whom are in critical condition, have been moved to Lady Reading Hospital. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Police has reached the incident site while bomb disposal unit has also been called in. The police cordoned off the area.

Two security officials injured in IED blast in North Waziristan

The medical centre is situated in a busy area of the city. The nature of the blast has not been ascertained yet.

Continuous intelligence based operations are needed. Now whole country busy in elections, we might see these b@stards trying to use it to their advantage

I'm afraid they might attack vote booths, the casualties could be catastrophically high. Plus such attacks could plunge Pakistani politicians into a blame game, which could turn violent.

Both KPK and Balochistan need continuous intelligence based operations. More than anyone else. There should be special focus on these areas.

Pashteen group which is full of rented Afghan refugees & rented terrorist TTP are responsible for such attacks in Pakistan.
