Dhaka has very poor drainage system. Especially in Shantinagar area where the pictures were taken.

It is religious duty to sacrifice animals in memory of Prophet Ibrahim's sacrifice. Its compulsory like Hajj for those who can afford it. It can not be stopped till the end but what we can do is make things more humane and civil. Its better to have cow / goat slaughterhouses in every area but again if people don't go to those places for Qurbani then there is no reason to have slaughterhouses.

That was a single street.That area is Shantinagar and is already known for waterlogging in heavy downpour.All the photo circulated are from the same street.But in your fertile imagination whole city drown in blood which is far far from the truth.
