Egypt to Turkey: We will fight attempts seeking to undermine our sovereignty

Arab world should unify and conquer the region, we must Arabize all the minorities of the greater region

Ahhhh, but this is exactly what US is fearing the most. And the entire reason for hostility between Iran and KSA. US nightmare is Iran with too much influence over ME or unified Arabs with too much influence in ME. US biggest nightmare of all is Shia Iran and sunni Arabs unifying.

Arab world should unify and conquer the region, we must Arabize all the minorities of the greater region

Most are already Arabized without knowing it. Anyway a bad idea (I know that you are joking like I use to do to rile up a few trolls or get some funny reactions :D ) but that is the last thing that should be done. I believe that we should look inwards first and foremost and increase cooperation on all fronts.

We have enough of land (more than anyone else by far).

I would rather, 1 trillion times more, focus on improving existing technology, for instance in order to turn arid regions into fertile areas again by improving agricultural techniques, desalination technology and by being less wasteful. Make use of those enormous land-masses whether fertile or non-fertile.

1 single example out of probably 100 that I could give here and now. Not bothering to write them all as we discussed something similar a while ago in that other thread.

In fact we must be even more welcome for non-Arabs and not bother any non-Arabs. We must protect Arab Christian communities and help them.

Encourage Arab Jews that migrated to Israel and elsewhere to return if they want as well. Welcome people from all over the world (not mass-migration) to help built a better future if they want to live in the Arab world.

Today people born and breed in Arab countries (valuable people) cannot become citizens (very difficult process at least). That is a problem if they want to stay and be useful and attractive citizens. Luckily there was talk in the Shoura council a few days ago to allow people born to non-Saudi Arabian fathers but Saudi Arabian mothers to become citizens.

Improve work ethic and combat (mercilessly) corruption and destruction of nature and wastefulness.

That is a part of unifying. If our region could unify cooperate and put stupid religious differences aside we could focus on important things like you mentioned.

But Turks want to annex, some Iranians want to expand. I want to expand as well. I think first take Khuzestan and use the oil wealth to fund a war against Turkey, then conquer both of them and Arabize them.

Iran doesn't want to expand. We have enough problems already in Iran, we dont want more land with more problems.

Hatay is Arab land. Should belong to Syria!

Southeastern Turkey is ancient Semitic land! Arabs lived there before the Turkic migrations!

Where is our @Syrian Lion friend?

I want Malta and Sicily. The biggest prize however would be Al-Andalus (Spain and Portugal) and parts of Southern France.

This way FC Barcelona can become an Arab football club and Real Madrid (Madrid is actually of Arabic origin - the city name) could become Arab football clubs. I will stop.

Not to forget Israel.

Back to planet earth.

Iran doesn't want to expand. We have enough problems already in Iran, we dont want more land with more problems.

Arabs neither my friend. Maybe some old Ba'athi'st still look at Khuzestan/Al-Ahwaz as Arab/Iraqi land but not many others nowadays. Outside of online forums and social media platforms (Twitter).

Arabs neither.

Very interesting, watched this informative doc back in 2013.

Its Assyrian land

Arabs lived in those regions of Syria/Turkey for over 2000 years too. Other than that Assyrians are our close cousins. Even closer than Jews ("real" ones). They might as well become Arabized as all of our pre-Arab Semitic ancestors where. There are non-Arab Semitic communities in Southern Arabia too with their own languages. They are slowly dying out as I believe that Assyrians will too (unfortunately).

Personally I am all for diversity and I like Assyrian dances and music which is very similar to Arabic music and dances if not for religious aspects (women and men separate but not always - depends on Arab country and region).

:D

BTW the Swahili coastline is also very beautiful (formerly Omani land) as well as Zanzibar (apparently they have a beach that has been voted as the most beautiful in the world a few times)

We should regain Gwadar in Pakistan too. Oman sold it too cheap.

Instant ban incoming.

Still waiting for those missiles being launched at Cairo though.:(

I never learned Assyrian but they talk very differently in the videos than how we do in Iran. And one of the girls were even singing Turkish, weird.

What GCC country do you recommend for a handsome Iranian like me to travel to :azn:

Are you an Assyrian?o_O Very cool and good.

Not Assyrian but also watch this.

Aramaic was once spoken from Hijaz to Northern Turkey. Even in Southern Arabia as a second language.

I understand quite a lot of Aramaic (many Arabs do). Studied it a bit for some time as a side hobby.

In fact it was the regional lingua franca of the Middle East and it was used as the language franca by the Achaemenids too which I am sure that you know.

This is great too (Arabic):

Soqotri (ancient language - one of the oldest in the world in fact)

I don't know, lol. The GCC nor Iran for that matter are places that you go to for dating. Maybe with the exception of UAE so you should go there as there is also a large Iranian population (second only to the one in the US if I am not wrong).

If you are after such things why not visit places like Ibiza?

Here is a video seen by 5 million people (!) showing local cuisine of just 1 out of almost 10 million Arab cities looks like and the host is an local Emirati with an Arabic surname but an Iranian forename which probably means that his mother is partially from Iran (Iranian Arab, Persian, Lur or maybe Baloch) probably or some other connection. He even speaks some words in Farsi when visiting some Iranian pancake makers.

Seems like a great guy. He has his own cuisine channel.

Made by the famous Mark Wiens (1.5 followers on Youtube) who has visited many Arab countries and made fantastic videos about its food and culture (Jordan, Oman, Palestine etc.)

The region should cooperate and not spread useless/senseless hatred.

People can cooperate in "real life". Online is a bigger problem.

Yes I am half Assyrian. Aramaic and Assyrian language share many similarities. For instance, the word "I" in Arabic, Assyrian and Aramaic is the same. But Assyrian and Arabic doesn't sound the same at all, not to me at least

I had never heard Soqotri before, sounds like Russian to me. Check this one out, its Iranian Assyrian, maybe you recognise som words https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_wQcerOXEI

Ibiza is a place you go to party, I want to visit countries rich in culture and get to know the local people. And of course being a guy, dating a local girl would be great.

I would never visit UAE for cultural experience. Most people there are foreigners and tourists.

Those videos about people traveling alone to foreign countries being welcomed by local population etc all look great but I doubt thats really how it is in reality.

As a native speaker of Arabic all Semitic languages sound very similar overall (compared to other languages) with the exception of Southern Semitic (the Southern Semitic languages of the Eritrean and Ethiopian highlands) but even there, there are clear similarities.

They all share most lexical, morphological, phonological, and grammatical features.

Haha, that is because it is a Russian linguist speaking about the Socotri language. It does not sound like that. Socotri language is unique due to the isolation of Socotra (equivalent of the Galapagos Islands).

The language has the biggest similarities with Southern Arabian Semitic languages (the ones that are dying out as I mentioned).

One of the most beautiful and unique areas of the world in fact. It's one top of my bucket list.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socotra

Will give it a look. However native Assyrian speakers would be better to ask. I believe that there is a difference in dialect between Assyrian speakers in Syria and Iraq and in Iran. A bit like Kurds (maybe not as pronounced) but correct me here if I am wrong.

As for what you are looking for, you should remember that there is no such dating culture openly in our region. You would need to familiarize yourself with the person (woman) and get to know their family etc. It's almost impossible for some foreign tourist to do such a thing during a short stay.

There are actually many areas of UAE where locals make up a large portion of the population.

Oman you would probably like a lot. Most visitors fall in love.

BTW would a foreigner be able to travel to Iran to date with locals? Just asking as I doubt this as well.

In short it is different from the West in this regard and if you want to do such things you need to become part of that "micro community" (for instance local youth) and you cannot do that as a tourist that visits for 2 weeks at the most.

Lebanon or even Jordan might be easier for such things or the Maghreb (Morocco and Tunisia) but here you should also remember that most people are conservative on this front.

Beirut might be the exception and Arab Christians.

Last time I checked :coffee: Turks were defeated by Arabs. And ultimately Arabs hurth Turks so bad the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

in your dreams ?

in WW1 Ottoman Empire fought in 6 fronts against the British , French , Italians , Russians and 200.000 of traitor Armenians who joined to the Russian Army

Arabs were with Ottoman Empire against Kafirs ,,,,, only traitor Sarif Hussain and a few desert rats were allies with Kafirs against the Ottoman Empire

1 ... Ottoman Army destroyed British and French Navies and killed over 250.000 Brits and French in Gallipoli campaign during WW1

2 .... Ottoman Army captured over 13.000 British-Indian soldiers including General TOWNSHEND in Iraqi campaign..... what a shame on British history .....only Ottoman Empire could do it to British in history

3 ...... in 1916-1917 Ottoman Army arrived to Baku/ Azerbaijan and Turks kicked Russians and Armenians and saved Azeri Turkish brothers and in 1917 Ottoman Army invaded half of Iran

4 ...... Ottoman Army lost only in Sinai/Palestine campaign , only 57.000 Ottoman Army troops fought 3 years against 467.000 British,French,Italians, and Anzacs without logistic support because of traitor Sarif Hussain and a few desert rats always attacked Ottoman Army logistic support trains

pathetic Persians and Arabs have no even 1 victory against Europeans or Russians or Turks in history
on the other hand Turks have over 100 victories against Europeans,Russians,Persians and Arabs in the last 1000 years

know your place persians , Iraqn was ruled by the TURKS for 963 years between 962 and 1925

and there are only 3 powers in the region the US,,Turkey and Russia ,

Iran doesn't want to expand

then wtf is Iran doing in Arabian countries Iraq,Syria,Lebanon,Yemen with American and British helping ?

also Iran is trying to create chaos in S Arabia and Bahreyn and The US-Israel are so happy that stupid muslims ( sunnis and shitees ) kill each others everywhere
