Egypt and S Arabia should develop their own weapons to become real military power

Nobody can match with Israel and Turkey in the region

We are connected to the people of Egypt with our hearts. The Turkish people will never be worried by the arming of Egypt. Our only concern is that the Egyptian industry is still unable to make progress. All this military power depends on US and European logistics, and ofc depends on keeping in line with the policies of these countries. If the financing power is provided through the UAE, that's even worse.

Well, that's nice and the feeling is certainly mutual. The problem is why did Erdogan instigate discourse with the current Egyptian administration by openly condemning it in support of the Muslim Brotherhood? Ok, a military coup is a bad thing I think everyone gets that. The problem with the approach that Erdogan took was way over the top since that coup saved the country of Egypt and to most of us, that is A LOT more important than a misfit head of a fanatical Islamic organization getting control of the country through a democratic process and practically bringing it to the verge of collapse.

A better way of handling it would've been to voice displeasure (that would've been fine) but not support the MB, harbor many of their agents, meddle in our internal affairs with fake radio broadcast with the purpose of disseminating the current leadership and constantly provoking and antagonizing it. At the same time, not one negative thing was uttered by the current Egyptian president towards Erdogan to start this feud. This is what we have a problem with.

Our only concern is that the Egyptian industry is still unable to make progress.

Why is that your concern? Why would you be concerned about it? Or is it just another way of touting Turkish military industry? lol. You guys are so predictable. :-) That shouldn't matter to you at all since it works for us. Our assembly lines and ToT and industry along with our purchase power is working just fine to keep us at a strong military level that is capable of protecting the country. Other than that, it shouldn't concern anyone else but us only as to whether we should be doing more to build a local military industry.

What's more important than that ATM is our economy which is taking the brunt of the concerted effort and it is paying off very well.

All this military power depends on US and European logistics, and ofc depends on keeping in line with the policies of these countries.

What is this "keeping in line with the policies of other countries" you're eluding to? Can you please clarify and explain?

You need to look at the rest of that line to put it in context.

You are obviously not following the news of the Arab world development or trying to deny it.. Syria, Libya and Yemen are not the Arab world.. they are part of it.. but the rest is doing quite good.. besides all of this, Egypt has one of the oldest arms industries in the region.. and BTW the video is very nice and shows a potent and powerful armed forces.. keeping in mind that Egypt has always personalised its weapons with its own tech and components.. not much..but enough to give it the minimum independence needed to operate them in any circumstances..

what a funny ... Turkish military industry is getting one of the best in the World ,, over 700 Turkish military projects for over $74 billion

also most modern NATO and Russian Weapons such as F-35A , Boeing 737 AEWC , Airbus A400M , CH-47F Chinook , S70 Blackhawk , S70B Seahawk , S400 Air Defense System , Type 214TN class Submarine , etc

Egypt can not develop even Anti Tank Missile ,,,, Egypt has no its own Ballistic and Cruise Missiles ,, Air to Air and Anti Ship Missiles and Air Defense Systems and Smart Bombs and Guided MLRS

Egypt has no its own electronic and avionic systems , software , IFF , Active protection Systems and Aesa Radars and Electronic Warfare Systems

Egypt has no its own Naval Industry
Egypt has no its own UAV and UCAV technology
Egypt has no its own Helicopter projects including Turboshaft engine development project
and many more

Turkey and Israel are only real military powers in the Middle East
and I am saying again Egypt and S Arabia should develop their own weapons to become real military power

SC .. come on man, what is wrong with you.

You've been in Canada long enough... be objective.

Syria, Iraq and Yemen have more to contribute to Arabic history and heritage than anyone else.

what a funny

LOL! You did exactly as I predicted! I think you have some slight comprehension issues because you're so blinded by your chest-thumping. Go back and read the exchange carefully, see if you can understand the point and how you fell right into the trap.

Where did I mention Iraq.. you are not being objective by including Iraq instead of Libya that I have mentioned..
Yemen was at war for the last century _almost_ ..and Syria of today is very far from Syria you are thinking about..

They are doing just that.. do not worry much..
