Effective way to fight War on Terror?

Well, basically what it seems is that fighting on War on Terror will change.

People who oppose War on Terror

Considering that a few soldiers who are surrendering because they dont agree with crushing these militants, people who proclaim themselves "holy warriors".

My Opinion

- One of my opinions currently relies on fighting a War on Terror to TOTALLY eliminate these militants, and thats by a full scale war (and emergency may help in this situation).

- Second opinion of mine would be to make "peace deals", but it seems like that it will no longer work. However, it does guarantees "no violence". I also believe to some extent, for some people, that they are engaging in a war against Pakistan because of its support to fight against the militants.

We as a nation FIRST need to decide, if we are going eliminate people who are fighting against the USA and so us (because we are supporting the USA) OR we are going to take a neutral stand, which we were taking before, that is by stopping all the military operations and telling them to stop fighting USA using our BORDER.

I admit that it is a poor post because i too cannot make up my mind, and i am sure there are quite others who also cannot make up their mind in the situation we are currently in.

We have to pick A or B.. i dont believe there is a C.

It's better not to pick sides Web. The USA will be pulling out of Afghanistan soon. They're not going to stay. Playing the balancing act till then will ensure friendly relations to all the coalition, and even the Taliban (an ideology which will fade out eventually). I would say that Pakistan can look back and say it helped the US root out Al Q, and it prevented millions of Pakistanis from being bombed by the US. Rooting out Al Q is in Pakistan's interest anyway. I think Pakistan has been acting in its best interests. This may also have been the US's interests at the same time. Brilliant diplomatic strategy by Mushharaf!!
