whoever argues with that is an idiot, pure and simple. Education spending should be at least double the military spending for Pak and yet, military spending is actually 8 times higher than education spending. Both India and Pakistan have nukes, it won't make a damn difference how many Jets you have or how many Tanks you have. Who cares. India is obviously focusing on its economy and Pakistan can't ever match India's toys when their economy is improving each year. Focus on having detterents so that a war can be avoided and put all your resources on education and health.

we will teach neuclear physics, particle physics, quantum physics, metallurgy, etc. etc. ............ just kidding....Only a fool will disagree to give education the highest priority.

It's the highest dividend paying investment a nation can make.

When the Japanese left the WW2, Japanese Prime Minister stood in the ruins, he issued the first order is "Free lunch for all students."
When China has just established, We even still in the Korean War, Mao's first order that is "Nine-year compulsory education".

FYI, it's not 8 times. The worst possible statistics (or best possible, depending on where you're from) you'll find will give it 2 times as much.

Absolutely right. Can you also share some of the other initiatives by GoP to enhance the primary education system?

I have had some heated disputes with friends over what should get more priority ... Higher education or schooling (with me Favoring higher spending on primary education) , as this lays the foundation for the yet-unbiased-mind.
