I found a article and thought to share it, i found this article very interesting leave ur views below...
Well there are many education systems in Pakistan but the main is the Matriculation and Fsc levels.These are for the students who desire to learn and do something when they are of age in order to live their life in harmony.But Pakistan's education in the early levels like Matric in which the age group 14-16 lie many students have to decide their future, if they get good marks they will get a good job but what if a student gets bad marks, that is where our problem lies the children who get bad marks are not considered at all and it form in their mind that my life is over if i do not get good marks in my matric or my Fsc but the thing is that is the mind of a person who's age lies between 14-16 mature enough to decide his future? That is what our education system is based upon if you fail in your secondary education you end you wont get any good job and this is why students lose hope they think their life is over.Also because the universities and colleges accept students on the basis of their marks and nothing else? other capabilities are just ignored nor are they encouraged if a child is not well in his academics surely he might be a great sportsmen or having such capabilities leading them to become scientists time has showed many examples.This education system defines a child's life of 4 years if they do not succeed in these years their life is finished there is nothing for them this is what our education system is based upon.It may be true because no college or university is ready to accept a student who does not bear good marks.Nor are they influenced or motivated that even if they do not succeed then they could always chase their dream and overcome it nonetheless.Our education should not be based upon our matriculation level because a child is still in the process of becoming mature he is still observing of what is around him surely he cannot decide all of his future at that age now can he? Then our education system says at such stage to not use your mind and think about what you are studying it only says to memorize what is written and not change or alter it they say that we have no degree or maturity to change such things but if the teachers or the exam checkers surely possessing a degree and being capable enough they can surely encourage the students to wright their own form but in that form the meaning of the specific subject must be defined no matter what words or way you use to explain it but this is sadly not accepted surely not in our SSC and our HSSC education.Everybody is familiar that our matriculation and Fsc system is devised on the system of memorization of what we study. But we dare not change it or mend the words because we will lose our precious marks and without marks we are nothing at least that is what our education system tells us!
