Education a drama for Pak ministers, UET not to be CO, Wait.... Should be CO

The day libturds stop interfering into Pakistan's affair.. I will move there. We need to get rid of disease called libturds first
Funny for every mullah anyone disagreeing with their extremist version of Islam is a libturd. I'm not even that liberal but definitely not a mullah whose only achievement in life is to grow a beard and give fatway on morality while being a burden on society.

You know, in the Quran Allah says "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan." (24:21)

You might be sitting and talking with the other person about professional stuff but maybe something else is inside your heart deep down.

I never know what should be the ruling on this matter as the situation is quite complex. People who say that there is no problem with male and female mingling, also come up with strong arguments.

However I do know that when prophet Muhammad (SAW) used to answer the questions of the Muslims of Medina, Men and women used to come separately, or there used to be a partition between the two sexes.

During the time of the Caliph Umar (R.A), the official responsible to maintain the prices of commodities in the markets of Medina was a woman named Al-Shifa. So this means that she obviously had to deal with the clever people of the market on a daily basis professionally. So hence we cannot deny women their rights in the workforce of the country however casual mingling is a rather complex and tricky problem.

here is this beautiful article about Hazrat Al-Shifa you might want to give a quick read:

Rest, only some knowledgeable religious scholar might know what is the best decision in this regard. Islam is a religion for the rest of time till Qiyamat. If we need an answer for this simple problem, it must be somewhere in the Quran or Sunnah. Hope we find it soon.

Going by the comments it is clear that none of you have ever been inside UET.
More boys smoke chars in UET than who sit with Girls, however the self righteous VC is worried about intermingling of the sexes. UET produced conservative engineers till late 2000, ISI routinely picked up AQ operatives from its campus, engineers joined LeT and JuD later on for Jihad. This was exactly the reason why MNCs are reluctant to take in UET grads. You go ahead with separation of sexes and the graduates will have tremendous problem in organization which are equal opportunity organizations.
i beg to differ with you.Being conservstive or not, it depends more on the ethical and moral upbringing in childhood as compared to university life. Till 2000s, UET has been producing great artists like Junaid jamshed, Sami khan , Jawad Ahmed and many like them.As far as your point about UETIANS not getting jobs in multinational companies,it is also the other way round.UET graduates are working in MNCs like Nestle, Honda, Suzuki ,Engro and many more MNCs .Infact, most of the executive positions are hold by UETIANS. Drug addiction is a problem in every university. Believe me, many students if not all smoke charss and weed due to love matters and to trying to be looking cool to opposite gender.By the way, letter was about separate sitting in Cafetarias not in Classrooms. Healthy gatherings can happen in classrooms .

All the people you mentioned were there before 1998 when all kind of liberal and socialist student unions were there in UeT. After 2005, Unilever stopped coming to UET for recruitment drive. Nestle did the same and so did schlumberger. If you must know, i am a graduate from the same university you claim to know more than me. The MTOs are coming from NUST, LUMS, GIKI, LSE, IBA and NED only.

And still it is you who hide behind the id Syed1. right? but would you like to tell me tell how Ali, Hussain (radhi Allahu unhuma) would look..like some turban wearing and bearded mullah or a libtard?
Arw you comparing cultural dress with ideologies? I can show you anti theist wearing shalwar kameez and i can show you western dress wearing islamists.

.
unilever not coming to UET has more to do with unserious attitude of students . Due to which, new subjects like ethics are being included in curriculum. By the way, sami khan graduated in 2003.As far as your claim of MTOs coming from Nust, lums etc is concerned, i think you very well know that Uet has lot more diverse engineering fields as compared to all afforementioned universities combined together. Let me tell you, alumni of my department are working in coca cola and many other mncs.

Mujhe zara yeh batado koi aik scientific karnama jo hamre modren logo ne science ke lie kia he me be man luga ke waqai kapre utar kr nanga bethne se bandah chand pr pohanch jata he o bhai for progress you need to do study and research why islam is always to be blame for our failures when our quran first 5 verses is about study

I am not saying that sitting naked or not will get you to or not to the moon.

I am saying that when we are so grossly indulged in shoving down religion in everyone's throats. And this is part of the problem, there is corruption and incompetence as well of course.

You know, in the Quran Allah says "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan." (24:21)

Sir, the times and norms have changed with age.

And still it is you who hide behind the id Syed1. right? but would you like to tell me tell how Ali, Hussain (radhi Allahu unhuma) would look..like some turban wearing and bearded mullah or a libtard?

I am willing to bet a 1000 grand that you not only look like the very image of a "libtard" in your dress in Sweden but also have to interact with females, ans you're perfectly fine with the liberal society of Sweden.

Why don't you come live in Saudi Arabia, with the ideals you are pushing here, it sounds like Saudi Arabia is your dream place.

And this is the exact problem: people pushing down irrelevant "religious ideals" down others' throats. Politics, dress, segregation, morality, etc.

Religion is more than just to be used for brownie political points, try applying it on yourself or in your home first.

Cant thank you enough for your post ... A UET grad

I don't think parents of the most of the girls would like their daughters to sit with boys
Pakistan isn't going to moon because we don't have money boys and girls not sitting together isn't a problem
Hahaha ... what are you saying bro. Our space programs will be made at cafterias by mixed gatherings only.

No need of any scientific efforts...

Whats your achievement in life ? Why r u so shame of beard , dont you know it was sunnat of all the prophets. Are you ashamed of sunnat of your prophet SAW?

If someone is pro religion it means he is backward. Dont you think they are totally unrelated and may be he has got more scientific and modern achievments then you ?

Is beinh pro relogion a shame for you ? If yes then y dont you declare yourself ethiest as there is just one explanation of quran and that is quran and sunnah and u cant say that extreme but this is real. If you dont follow it its your choice but then accept that u dont want to follow quran and sunnah and dont bash those who want to

He is Syed so I respect him and I feel he has realised his mistake. Even if a person does not wear the dress or sport a beard on his face...he should not talk derisively of that because it is the sunnah of all the Prophets especially our Prophet (peace be upon them) and his Ahlul bayt and his companions and Muslims all over the world,,,

Alhamdulillah I have two MS from two different US universities both of which are ranked among top 50 and in fact the programs I followed are ranked even higher. And one of my MS sponsored by fully funded scholarship and I was also selected as an exchange student...again fully funded) while other was partially funded. I graduated from one the best schools in US...at the age of 17 which is the lower than the average of 18 here. I don't want to go in details here though I have shared bits and pieces already on the forum. I established my own business and have been quite successful in that and providing direct employment to many people ... and for all materialistic people, I think my main achievement is that I have started to learn the language of the holy Quran to understand the it in depth along with hadeeth. I try to practice the religion as much as possible. Hence, I don't feel insecure with their certificates of backward. I'm not ready to trade my faith and religion for the sake of peanuts which most of the libturds do and for that I thank Allah.

It is correct that we are spending very little on education, that is why we have failed to develop our industrial base and skilled labor as well as innovators and entrepreneurs,it is bitter reality which we should accept to correct ourselves, our public iq level and level of thinking has decreased much due to lack of good education

Glad that the Governor himself intervened. We are not under Zia's rule anymore, although a lot of people would like to believe that.

1- I am UET grad which obviously you are not
2 - Work for an MNC as a project manager which you obviously are not
3 - Have friends and class fellows working for almost every MNC in Pakistan

If you know more than me, pls go ahead and tell me how many MTOs and interns in Unilever, PMI, Nestle and PNG are from UeT. I will wait.

I specifically said to compare UET with other universities. In fact, most of upper middle class kids are opting for other universities instead of PU or UET. Most of the people believe that UET is nothing more than a madrassa where posters call cricket and poetry events as infidel practices.
