ECP refuses KP for holding up of LBE in November

PESHAWAR: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said holding up of local body’s election in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in November this year is not possible.

The ECP has responded on the statement of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief who had announced holding up of local body elections in November.

The ECP said at least six months are required for delimitation for local body elections as well as adoption of biometric system needed two to three months.
