ECP failed to hear disqualification case of Nawaz Sharif but summons Imran on 2nd November!

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and his colleague Jahangir Tareen to appear before it on Nov 2 in connection with reference filed against the two PTI top leaders, Samaa reported Tuesday.

According to our correspondent, ECP has issued notices to Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen to appear personally or file response through their lawyers on Nov 2 on a reference forwarded by National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq seeking Khan's disqualification.

If they did not turn up, ECP said, the ruling will be issued.

Khan has announced a final showdown against the government, calling on his workers to lay siege to Islamabad on Nov 2 until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns or presents himself for accountability in the backdrop of the Panama Papers leaks. - Samaa

ECP is responsible by letting corrupt Nooras compete in election in the first place

None of the members within ECP were forwarded by PTI. It was PPP and PML-N.

There should be a rule like 1 educated person's vote = 40 uneducated person's vote.
