I normally don't like my country being trash talked but martian2 has a point. Vietnam is one of the poorest, least innovative country. Better to admit it and improve ourselves than try to hide it. Vietnamese are not stupid, go to the US and you'll see Vietnamese among the highest scoring in tests and Tuan Vo Dinh (top 100 living genius) and Nguyet Anh Duong (created weapon that ended war with Afghan), Eugene Trinh (among first asian sent to space). This tiny nation which once was behind Kenya and was competing with Somalia in human development is now an example to the world. Today they have built a nuclear fusion reactor, world's largest and more advanced home made telecommunications networks, Samsung whose profits are now larger than all American and Japanese electronics combined, high speed trains, signs 40 billion network deal with Canada, 4th largest car manufacturer, building nuclear reactors all over the world.....etc etc...
