Many of you have probably been to or through Dubai in recent years and most of you have likely seen a video on You Tube that featured a flight in/out of Dubai... On the other hand few of your likely travelled to or through Dubai 20 years ago but thanks to our older videos we can now give you a look at what the scene was back in those days.

Its really astonishing to see how much Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was active in air travel 20 years ago.

The Transformation of Dubai is Amazing to say the least, Power of Oil and money ..

And my mom has been has been working there since 1985.

I remember it very well from 30 years ago lol. Yep very little there. Time is an incredible thing.

wow just nice to see old birds flying at their young ages

First flew into Dubai in 1982 as a kid. No jetways then. Had to take a bus to the terminal. Now DXB will make way for DWC.

I've operated a few flights for my company from there.

Going there is like driving to Mexico.

I had to endure that travel during the Air Show last year on more than a couple of occasions.

The Jetway/Aerobridge was introduced at Concourse-1 in the year 2000.

There are still some Emirates flights parked at 'Charlie' Apron where passengers have to endure the long bus ride to the Terminal.

And Terminal-2 which is on the opposite side of Terminal-1 & Terminal-3 - only has buses for commuting. Mostly narrow-bodied aircrafts like B737 & a320 can been seen there with the exception of Cargo/Freights for FedEx, DHL & UPS.
