What part of South India? I don't think I've ever heard of incidents South of Mumbai.nope. my mother's side migrated from south india to e. Pakistan and moved to west in the 50s. they saw plenty of violence leaving south india...
Eleven thousand people were killed in KURUKSHETRA (HARYANA)I guess leave alone South India, not even the North India outside Punjab and J&K were affected by this violence.
