Every Pakistani officer has a family that is vulnerable to terrorist retaliation, yes? Give drones to them, and they won't be used against terrorists at all - no more than the F-16s have been used, and possibly even less.

I am curious to know why you think so? Have you seen or heard any such incident in which a Pakistan Army of AF soldier step back from his assigned duty just because he has a family?

Combat drones are a very complex and expensive technology and any such sale to Pakistan is most unlikely to happen. As of now, the Chinese combat drones are not on par with PAF's requirements and their is no such plan of their procurement from either US or China.
