Drone strike on Pakistani soil detrimental to relations with US: Army chief

But I strongly believe that US should not have rights to attack in PAkistan. If any mission than Pakistan should be infrom prior the mission and may also involved in mission.

This is just my thought...:-)

This is the important bit. If a wanted man is within our territory than either we take him out or capture him. Under no circumstances should a foreign country friendly or not allowed to come in and execute a military operation or strike. The fact that its happening and US vowed to continue to do so raises serious questions about the intention of the GOP and Pakistan armed forces into defending and protecting the sovereignty of Mother land.

I think Raheel and his team have done a fantastic job to move the country in right path but there is only as much they can do. In my humble opinion, the limitation come from the prevalent liberal and leftist mind set in the higher ranks of armed forces, which in turn keep the threat perception very limited and tunnel vision. Next logical step would be that when he retires, the incoming team should only comprise of ultra right winged hardcore nationalist who can do the ruthless accountability both home and and on foreign lands.

You Are Absolutely Right The Thing Is That Raheel Shareef Has Inherited A Lot Of Mess To Clean Up.He Is Doing What Is Humanly Possible.Zarb e Azb Has Been A Huge Success But Taking Action Against TTP Terrorists Was Easy Nobody Supports Them (At Least Publicly).Taking Down Drones Is Not Easy As There Are Intricate Foreign Policy Issues Involved. The People Criticising Raheel Shareef On This Forum Do Not Know That The US Invasion On Afghanistan and It's Entire Military Setup Was Under UN Mandate.Taking Down A Drone Does Not Only Mean Declaring War On USA But Also The World.Foreign Policy Decisions Cannot Be Taken On Impulse Alone

It Should Also Be To The Credit Of General Raheel That Eversince Zarb e Azb Started In FATA Drone Attacks Have Practically Stopped

LOL.... "detrimental to relations"............. these guys crack me up............ next time India does it, and we can't afford to loose a few hundred thousand lives defending our dignity, then why have an Army? Why not replace them with Punjab Police! :D

India Sent Drones Twice Once in 2002 And Once Last Year And It Was Shot Down Both Times.Don't Equate India With USA The Relationship Dynamics Are Complicated
