Chinese drone maker, DJI, announced that governments are not their direct customers, in response to an earlier report that the alleged Indian "spy drone" shot down by Pakistan was made by its company.

According to "Global Times" DJI also said it is not difficult to purchase their drones via the company's website or through any vendors.

DJI is a Chinese technology company founded in 2006 by Frank Wang and headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong.

Reports said it has grown 100 times in the past five years with an estimated value at 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion). The company claims to have 70 percent world-wide market share of the civilian drones.

It was also reported that 500 American companies have licenses to use drones, among them 50 percent use DJI products.

DJI manufactures commercial and recreational unmanned aerial vehicles for aerial photography and videography.

How do you guys so quickly determine what's 'obvious' ? :D

That thing can very well be crashed by some Pakistanis to put blame in India. The story can go both ways.

Well pakistani side lives a real life unlike india's where everything from top level starting from gov, military, intel agencies , media ,pdf indian posters to the common man live in a bollywood fantasy world , where everything is achieved rajnikanth style and then blown out of proportion and propagated with so much chest thumping that one doesnt even bother laughing at indians. Heck not even call pathetic. Such irreverence to the word.

:lol::lol: You seriously believe what you are saying or just trying troll.. Either ways, you will have to do better..

Okay, for your sake I hope you live a real life, but regarding India, let me just say it's big, it's vast, it's diverse and it's not what you think.

And yes...I met Rajhnikant once.. although I don't understand the language normally, he speaks, but I found him to be a very gentle, humble and nice person.

So in addition to DJI stating no direct sales took place; the only dealers of DJI in India, Mayank Chachra and Ameet.N also stating no Indian government organisation or agency purchased any such equipment from them it is safe to say it did not belong to GoI.

Apparently this drone has a Line of Sight of only 200-300m l.
