Actually, the U.N. can advise you that the Afghan Taliban have killed by far the greatest number of civilians inside Afghanistan. Pakistan? With over 34,000 dead civilians (many of them taliban), the vast majority have been killed by your own insurgents-

As for PREDATOR, Pak Sher, you haven't got an actual clue. Nobody does except the Taliban and C.I.A. and neither are talking. Ms. Farhat Taj and others, though, believe the numbers of innocent civilians killed are far less than Pakistani nationalists trumpet here and elsewhere. She and others from the Aryana Institute have at least conducted serious research among pashtun I.D.P.s inside refugee camps and surveys among those inside FATAville.

None of that matters, though. Most here prefer believing that PREDATOR is ineffective. Suits their pre-conceived notions despite whatever Kayani says otherwise in private with our officials.

Well, the taliban are civilians, are they not? When they cordon off a strike site and count the dead do they share it with you? Nobody ever seems to get close to these sites. Certainly not your "unnamed security officials" that report the latest PREDATOR attacks.

They don't go near such. Something about relishing the heads on top of their necks...

@S-2: Thats because your army doesnt let any journalist go into those areas officially. Some still do and report what they find. Search youtube. Some aljazeera journalists have been there and counted the dead bodies of women/children
