It is an anti-tank missile, not an ABM. I do hope that was a typo although I'm prepared to believe, given all the hype over the proposed Indian missile-defense shield, that most Indians think all their missiles are anti-missile missiles.

Yes it was a typo. I actually mean chase enemy tanks. And your perception about what Indians think is not correct.

How this system is different from nag, or javelin missiles?

Nag has a lock on before launch mechanism. Nag can perform cobra maneuver and can hit the tank on TOP which CLGM can not.
Nag uses MMW seeker CLGM may be using IR sensor. Launching mechanism is different. One need to heat the target for CLGM to hit which is not required in NAG. Nag is a Fire and forget type missile.
