Give it a rest. This is not the right place for your agenda. Not more than 200 Indians visit this website.Sarcasm
Can someone tell me why south Indians like to keep to themselves and don't even mingle with North Indians? Here, I am friends with Indian Punjabis and Gujuratis and we are on a talking level, yet the south Indians I see walking around in their own groups that even the North Indians don't want to touch. Just curious, why is that so?
Simple Reason :
it's easier for us to talk with you guys because of our similar Languages like Hindi-urdu/Sindi-Gujarati/Punjabis etc. etc. also we are culturally Brothers .
but Keralians are very Welcoming People they are also heavily Mixed with Foreigners like Arabs,Persians,Europeans and their Language is also very Close to Sanskrit. they mostly have Light Brown to Pale skin. so yeah they also feel they are Closer to us then their unmixed Neighbors
The South Indians in US and Europe are probably mostly migrants from South India directly where Hindi/Urdu is less known or at most as a 3rd language. So there's less chances of them interacting with the the Hindi, Punjabi people because of the communication gap.
you always make me more confused about the history of this region ....... where do you say the indus valley people went and left this land for migrants ????Dravidians Migrated from Turkey 1000's of years ago. they are Caucasoid bunch of People, but Dark one.
@bongbong
High Caste Dravidians are Mostly Fair Skinned to Dark Brown Skinned with Strong Caucasoid Facial Features.
like this Indian American Miss America.
aur bakry ki maa ki kher holo ji , billi ko chechrde nazar ane lage !
I was aware of the linguistical differences but we all communicate with each other in English so I did not believe this would have much bearing on this? I don't know, if they ever have to interact, it feels like both of the groups feel awkward around each other. Just what I've noticed, also which group of Indians is it that are all like very small but speak Hindi/Urdu. Are they Biharis? I mean no offence, India is very diverse, just trying to learn the differences among the people.
They also have their own group even though their language is pretty much understandable.
This point doesn't hold any water since the language used to communicate is English between all these groups. I don't exactly speak Punjabi with the Indian Punjabis and have rarely ever done so except a word or two.

Language , food culture. U name it. Things afe really very different between north and south .
Like me and @Levina DDG are almost like from opposite poles of india. The only similarities we share are our Passports, same army background and same schooling.
just for the sake of recorded history i was talking about the movies ........ and talk about the movies many bollywood movies are copies of tamil movies .... they are the most entertaining movies ..... i mean one guy can beat thousands of guys with banana .... or an egg ...... that is one place where laws of physics donot apply ....... if they are getting independence then instead of Dravida Nadu they should name themselve .....south indian triangle
I am from Kannauj, U.P. and My native language is dehati hindi.Where are you from in India, and what language do you speak? If you don't mind me asking.
But what kind of interactions do you have. going out for food, watching movies. In these cases its common for similar communities to get in touch. My brother in US goes with his Keralite friends to watch Malayalam movies or with Tamil friends to Keralite/South Indian restaurant. South Indians can't do this with North Indians and vice versa. This point doesn't hold any water since the language used to communicate is English between all these groups. I don't exactly speak Punjabi with the Indian Punjabis and have rarely ever done so except a word or two.
one other question sir Aryans are invaders and real owner of india are dravarians who fled to the south ....... if they are actually from that race then technically they own the whole subcontinent
New Recruit
wow that's a bit much, I think, its not that way at all.Can someone tell me why south Indians like to keep to themselves and don't even mingle with North Indians? I am totally against even for creation of new states.
What is the use of creating new Dravida Nadu ?
We all know there is too much of diversity , that if we divide, we have do it , keep doing it, until we become district size country ...
What is the need of the hour is, I feel is the preservation of diversity, and strengthen it with unity ..
