Well I do know one thing.

Dravida Nadu would have serious water disputes with the Republic of India regarding rivers like Godavari,Sabari,Sileru etc which flow from Maharashtra,Chhattisgarh & Odisha to AP & TG.

Also the Republic of India would be furious & angry with the Polavaram Multipurpose Project which would be under construction in the state of AP which would submerge areas in Chattisgarh & Odisha & hurt the states.[Both states are really angry with the GOI for making this a National Project] This dispute could require an international mediator

Some other intial thoughts:-
We would also have the SrihariKota Facility which we could use to launch satellites for other nations & thus boost our Foreign Relations & earn revenue & foreign exchange.

TN & AP could be manufacturing powerhouses. The long coastline along the East Coast would act as a booster in strengthening trade & other such ties with South East Asia & the pacific. Kerala could be used to attract Tourists & export Ayurvedic Products.

Also Uranium & Thorium Deposits recently discovered in AP & TG could really help the young nation.

We would obviously have good relations with Pakistan & CHina in a few years. Sri Lanka could lose the support of both nations when it comes to DN vs SL. It would face pressure from DN(& especially the Tamils) regarding human rights abuses

Oh yes, we would have partition blues with India & quarrel about allocation of resources like Pens,Tables,Guns,warships & Railway engines etc. Also the distribution of finances & debts would be a problem

Regarding Political issues:-
We could see proxy wars between Telugus & Tamils to be the new leaders of this young nation.

I see Telangana & AP still fighting each other at an inter-state level but I see Telugu netas & organisations in both states & in Karnataka(10% of Karnataka is Telugu) coming together to work to ensure that they become the strongest linguistic group in the new nation.[As KCR's daughter recently said in an interview with livement/ET- "We are two states, but one people" ]

& thus coming into conflict with the Tamils who too would mobilize to do the same. The Kannadigas ,Malayalis,Tulus,Urdu speakers & Kodavas & other such minority groups would be the swing groups whose votes the major groups/parties would run after

all these stuff discussed here in this thread is hypothetical and is never gonna happen, for the information of the state anthem of Karnataka is " bharatha jananiya tanu jaathe jayahe Karnataka maathe" which means daughter of mother India hail mother Karnataka,and Karnataka is not like Tamilnadu where such ideas arise and the maharajah of Mysore was the first ruler to join Indian federation when even northern rulers were searching ways to save their kingdoms, and the kingdom of Mysore was the most prosperous native kingdom during the raj, so there is no question of any such ideas, if Tamil nadu even if thinks of this then they will be the biggest losers, as the cauveri river will be stopped and loose all their business with their neighbours, all this dravida thing runs only in tamilnadu not in other states, so no dravida movement or are there any dravida parties in any of the southern states other than Tamil nadu,forget about it and live happily.

I think as a north indian Haryanvi Brahmin...I would find more cultural similarities with Pakistanis than I do with south Indians.

You're wrong, LTTE was the latest organization to be supported by the Indian establishment and TN.. TN political support for Tamil separatism in SL predates 1956.. After all their greater Tamil state encompassed Northern and Eastern Sri Lanka as well.. There were even factions supported by different rival political entities in TN, MGR and his AIAMDK supported EPRLF, Karunanidhi and his DMK supported the LTTE so on

G.G Ponnambalam was the advocate for Periyar and Annadurai Tamil dominated Dravida Nadu or as it was called then Dravida Desam and that was even pre independence.. SWRD's stupid majoritarian policies only opened the opportunities for these TN elements to spread thier ideology more widely
