I didn't divert from the topic. You said civilized societies allow people to have whatever government they want. Turned out western countries don't allow muslims to have government they want. I don't see the difference from China government. Why you criticized China only?

Chinese poeple are satisfied with present government. HK and TW are more like joke materials for mainland Chinese.

LOL! How does "It is up to the people to determine their governance (in civilized societies)." translate into "civilized societies allow people to have whatever government they want." Determining governance is always done by clear and fair and open processes, not by "whatever".

Chinese people are not free at all under the oppressive regime imposed on them by the communists, right down to the number of children that they may have. Evil!
