Directorate of Procurement (Navy) has finally shifted to a building in F-11/1 in Islamabad and has vacated its long occupied space at the 3rd Floor of Ministry of Defense Production Building at Pakistan Secretariat No. 2 on Adamjee Road, Rawalpindi. Now the Director of Procurement (Naval Commodore) and the officers will sit at the new premises in Islamabad. Its a good move considering the proximity to NHQ. Next will be the Directorate of Procurement (Air) in a few years to move to Islamabad as well.

It has probably shifted to the Navy Housing Scheme in F-11/1. Should've moved to E8, inside the naval complex.

May be due to frequent visits of private suppliers.
They could not be accommodated anywhere in the Naval Complex in E8 due to non availability of space.
Yes that is also a main factor owing to easy accesbility to private vendors in F-11/1
