Stocks rallied sharply Thursday, gaining ground for a fourth straight day as investors appeared to favor prospects for a split government as Democratic challenger Joe Biden remained near the threshold for an electoral college victory over President Donald Trump while Republicans were seen increasingly likely to hold their Senate majority. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +1.94% rose around 543 points, or 1.9%, to end near 28,390, according to preliminary figures, while the S&P 500 SPX, +1.94% finished with a gain of around 67 points, or 1.9%, near 3,510. The Nasdaq Composite COMP, +2.59% closed near 11,891, up 300 points, or 2.6%.

Eh? Well I guess the Chinese have a fatalistic mindset for everybody to give up, bury their money in a hole, and quickly fall on their swords when there is adversity.

We still push forward in battle even with losses. Guess this is foreign concept to you...sorry if you don't understand.

When DOW is down, I posted it. Haha. I am double standard in this case.

But anyway, I don't think US government is doing enough to stop the spreading. In the opposite, US is doing everything to recover economy. I bet Americans believe better having money to die than living without money.

It's more of a state problem. Some places handle it better than others. One state has lockdowns while the state next door has public parades. One state the kids do school online while the next crams them back into classrooms.
