Arya Samaj leader Swami Agnivesh on Friday said Aamir Khan-starrer ‘PK’ should not be opposed on “flimsy” grounds by people who haven’t even seen the film.

“I think it is high time that a film like ‘PK’ must be welcomed by one and all. It should not be opposed on flimsy grounds by people who haven’t even seen the film,” he told reporters.

Swami Agnivesh also suggested that the film should be made tax-free throughout the country.

“The film is not against anyone’s sentiments, therefore it is high time that this film should be made tax-free throughout the country, in all the States,” he added. Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have made it tax-free.

The 75-year-old believes that the film will be the “harbinger of a new socio-cultural renaissance in this country”.

I have saw the movie , Hindus sentiments were hurted with the scene of Lord Shiva.

I don't deny this that Hindu God and Goddess has been targeted on many occasions. Be it with the paintings by M F Hussain or with the Ganesha on Slippers and disrespecting other Goddess. I don't see any difference when the Prophet picture with bomb on the turban or Jesus with beer can and cigarette. What people get by offending other religions ?

Religious sentiments should not be hurted and there have been a very wrong attitude towards Hindus god and goddess on many occasions.

There are already laws regarding it and whenever any religious community show its protest its because of that law only .

Laws are never BS and have to be implemented. In real life those laws are implemented unlike some advance countries which openly degrade any religion and nations in the name of games and in that end government of those countries openly deny as if anything has happened even when lethal technology is being used.

In Bollywood , Censor board is responsible for releasing any movie. This movie PK was released after approval from Censor board.

It's easy, anything against Muslims or Christians is offending and scenes must be deleted whereas when it's comes to Hindus it's freedom to free speech.
