I do not understand, states where Non BJP GOv are in place, are not banning these nutheads...These are menace to society.

That is debatable. By the looks of it, the people WERE part of society and they were enforcing their own social norms.

One can disagree, but social activism and neighbour hood watch is a reality in most parts of the world. And when police do not do their job, the public step in for Vigilante justice.

Trolling aside, its election time in UP and more such provocations are expected to polarize votes. Hope the govt is more vigilant and nips in bud all such politically motivated stunts.

I do not think they had much to do with political affiliation or election. It was a mix of christian morality and vigilante action by Hindus on a muslim couple.

Funny how all three religions have a role to play in this incident.
