One of his main plank is to stop immigration and stop job outsourcing.

Thats fine and should be welcomed by us. More skilled Indians need to stay in India considering many are returning from US these days (and west in general) to take advantage of the more dynamic economy in India compared to west which is relatively flatline.

It can time very well with the start up India campaign being promoted now by Indian govt....which has reduced the paperwork to just one paper I read.

Wait for Mr Bloomberg speech on Wednesday in Democrats convention along Prez Obama. And the whole Indian diaspora and Mainstream Media will paint the town in Dems color.

One good thing to see the Indian American diaspora ability in terms of political weightage and gaining recognition that this group is potentially a very very important for votes and support..

Now I hope in coming times we see stronger diaspora who is able to yield it's influence and ensure that India gets the right treatment and is not neglected in geo political terms. Bcz USA India relationship is lot more verbal big bang marketing than in reality a more sublimed relationship often viewed with suspicious eyes...
