There are different type of tourist. I seen millions visit Iran where you will not even find the original coke let alone alcohol. There are another type of tourist who visit Thailand/India etc for what you know.

Family tourism? A lot of development is needed to attract tourists. For example- few days ago a tourist arrived in dhaka, the taxi driver spoke very little english! He charged 5 times more to take him to Gulshan, failed to locate the hotel he booked, And then took him back to the Airport. That solo traveler had to hire another taxi ! He was quick to write this online and warn other tourists!!

Perhaps India will be tourist marketing Bangladesh as a modern day Atlantis in a few years time. Right now though, we should concentrate on showing off to our tourists what excellent pole vaulters the Bangladeshis are.

i think Sunderbans r quite famous as the r listed in UNESCO's list of World Heritage Site which is shared by both BD n India N there r lot of tiger in there i heard

If proper facilities r developed for tourists as well as protection of tigers n forest a lot of revenue can be generated

As well as BD has a decent coast line so r there any famous beachs or its just the Ganga delta

Most Indians have no idea about Bangladesh. Coxs Bazaar has a beach and not much else. This is not Goa. No night clubs, no easy-lay drunk Bimbo phoren gals, no booze (maybe some weed). But it has the longest beach in the world (pretty crowded in the peak season). And some pretty nice tony hotels. But that's it. If you want to hang out, do it quietly in off-peak, this is your place.
