does paint job makes a fighter jet more eye-catching and sophisticated?

do u think the paint job of a fighter jet makes it more eye-catching and attractive....especially when its appearing in an air show and looking for buyers?
For instance following is a Chinese airforce A-5 fantan....looks pretty sleek with white shiny paint and all those gadgets,sensors,pods,radio antenas it looks sophisticated.

here we have same plane in PAF's colour scheme and it dosent looks that attractive..

i know in real life its all about camouflage and in war all thats counts is camouflage...but do u think while apprearing in air-show an aircraft should be specially painted so that it can attract customers...like our JF-17 ....we paint some design on it and send it to airshows.
