Does Musharraf deserve a comeback?

And now we have another political party at hand. All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) is perhaps the newest player in the political arena. Comprised of hodgepodges this party can safely be called an extended assembly of Musharraf’s close aides instead of General’s admirers.

But brushing aside APML’s party workers’ credibility, I come to a more important question. Does Mr. Musharraf deserve a comeback? So far, he’s been living in self-exile and controlling his party from London but is he worthy of running the reigns of this Country once again? Please give your opinion in light of his previous doings/achievements/transgressions.

I am a humble party worker of the APML and I can tell you that most of the people who have joined the party are people with no political background. All of these people have joined the APML because all of us believe that President Musharraf has done better than others and he is honest and patriotic to Pakistan.

We are really proud of our leader and our party workers because all of us, by the grace of Allah, are action oriented people who go out in jalsas and who are actively involved in party - ALL FOR THE SAKE OF PAKISTAN!!

My message to you - Kindly get involved, join a party, make sure to vote and give time to the country. Right now you are just sitting and typing gibberish to get your frustration out, DO SOMETHING!!!

We hate him for Kargil but still many of us believe that he was last bait to solve Kashmir issue for once and all. His India centric mind is irritating though. Just a Indian perception about Mushy.

He should come back, I'll vote for him over MQM, PTI, PML(N/Q), PPP(*) etc., where * represents all factions. I have only about 20 years to judge all the politicians (since 1990's) and I would vote for Musharraf over any of them any day. For Musharraf "Pakistan always came first", he is the guy who has actually fought 2 wars for his country!

But I also say that we do not deserve him, we deserve Zardari and Nawaz Sharif.

And because of his blunders TTP was formed and we are facing Suicide Attacks he betrayed the treaty Which Jinnah made with Tribals and entered Troops there and we are now facing the never ending war because of this traitor he sold Muslims to America

If a man can not implement his agenda in 8 years rule,when he had all the authority then what the nation should expect from him in 5 years term when there will be so many share holders(only if he come in to power).Musharaf should leave politics.
