The mullah regime confirms that majority of iranian youth chose Christianity or atheism
Go to YouTube or any iranian forum or the iranians who live abroad all hate islam
Pirouz nahavandi the killer of omar is hero to iranians

Google:tsunami of atheism in iran

Islam is 1 thing and mullahs including their government are something else which should be separated in my opinion . The reason that people supported the revolution and him was Islam and that's again the reason that people fought 8 years of imposed war .

As I've said before I neither support nor oppose current system as every system has it's advantages and disadvantages but it's not well mannered to speak from all Iranians .

You also speak for all Iranians when you claim they fought 8 years because of Islam. Maybe they fought for their country, and not a religion?

My father and my uncles fought in the Iran-Iraq war, as volunteers, and not one of them was fighting for Islam.

That is because the majority of Iranians who live abroad are either Jews/Bahais or atheists who ran away like cowards from Iran and so now bich and moan about it, sure there are some Muslims but they only make up around a 4th of overseas Iranians (in the US especially) along with students. Never come across an Iranian here in Nyc who did not run away as a refugee.

Even here the overseas are shah supporters so you already know.

Islam was the driving force during that war, it was used as a motivating tool to make Iranians fight and sure some may not have had fought for that reason but the majority did. Do not forget the revolution started from the masjid.

Running away to seek a future for your children is not cowardish. Most Iranian atheists come from Muslim families, as I am an example of. Usually Christians, Jews and Bahai's are much more religious than (Iranian) Muslims are, because they are a minority in a multi-religious country.

No, many migrate for a better future that is not what I was talking about, I am talking about those who ran away for political reasons and then badmouth their home country. I feel one should stay and fight or defend their ideas if they feel so strongly about them and not go abroad only to talk sht. Like if today something happened here that I did not agree with like something huge and I opposed it then I would stay here and oppose it even if it meant bodily harm.

I would not go to Canada and then come online and criticize every little thing because at the end it comes to , ok if you disagree what did you do to make a difference.

That is because you are living in a relatively free country, and doesn't know how repressive a dictatorial regime can be. I would want to see you being tortured, raped and harassed by religious zealots, and then see how tough you are.

Typical internet bravery.

True but I wouldn't come online and act like I could do things better if I didn't have the balls to put my neck on the line either.

Not that I am accusing you of that just something I noticed from many other Iranians.

It seems that the regime is fearing these 'online guys' more than anything, considering all the internet restrictions and monitoring, so it has its effect. Let alone the fact that you could be judged and prisoned (even killed) by the statements you make online, so 'not having the balls' is incorrect and an insult to the people who are concerned by Iran's internal problems.

Yeah but those people are inside Iran and can actually make a difference, anyway I was not talking about you so don't take it personally.

Jews,Christians,Baha'is don't make 30% of iran majority of them are religious
Atheists come from muslim background I know you don't want to accept the truth
Iran Iraq war have nothing to do with islam Iraq is also a muslim country

What are you talking about I agreed with you that many abroad Iranians hate Islam and it is because they are jews, atheist, or bahai. In US only 25% are Muslim so with 75% Iranians being other you would get the same impression but it hardly accounts for what goes on inside Iran proper. The background of atheists don't matter, atheist is atheist.

Dude , I did not speak from all Iranians but this is a fact that people were not in love with mullahs and their main reason was Islam that they revolted , fought and have supported this system up to now .

This is not what I say cos I wasn't in this world in those days but almost every single person who was alive and took part in those events and supported them told me the main reason was their religion as almost 90% of my family , relatives are them ( no need to mention what a big role religion played in those years after the revolution ) .

Even now if you ask supporters of system that why they support IR , You'll see its religion more than anything else .

Here is a thread where you can see the reality of those years :
