I'm trying to see if anyone gets the simplest, easiest few proofs that the earth is round.

if the earth was flat than the shadows at different places on the same time would have the same angle. Because on a flat plane light hits everyplace at the same angle. So you can just measure the shadows at one place at noon and then travel a couple thousand kilometers in another direction and measure the angle of the shadows there. If they are different the earth is round. Also, if the earth is flat then why does the toilet in south africa flush a different direction than the northern hemisphere.
