But how do you know that from evidence empirically gathered with your own eyeballs? For all you know they could be lying (not that I believe that, this is just a logical game).

How can one prove Earth is a sphere when in fact Earth is flat?

If the earth is flat how do you account for the fact that the moon shows the same face in 2 parts of the world far apart from each other?

But that argument relies on an understanding of solid mechanics and planetary differentiation. What if I say, all that is fake? How do you prove without any math or science, just empirical observation with your eyes, that the earth is round?

There's multiple ways to do so btw I already pointed out 1.

Many years ago when the air quality in Karachi was better, and the edge of DHA was phase 6/7 not eight. we could see ships go in and out of the port. You could clearly see the ships disappear on the horizon (especially if you used binoculars). The top of the ships were the last to go and the stern the first to go. And ships coming into the ports, you could see the tops and then eventually the bow. This is the clearest practical way of confirming the curvature of the earth. Obviously there are other more scientific means.
