Do we have thermonuclear warheads?

I am not asking pin point accuracy. Tell me what you believe is the truth. For example, the only perspective that I have heard here is from @Chinese-Dragon who says that India's test was a 20kt yield weapon, which is most likely to be a fission device.

@SinoSoldier adds that it could have been a fusion device with fizzled phases.

So tell me what you believe. Final judgement will depend on my reading of things from multiple sources.

Can you elaborate?

well bro you can see what type of opinions that too approx you will get now.

that says a lot about you, doesn't it....my job is done... me out!
On topic,i have heard from a very "reliable" source that India at present has the capability to build a fusion device greater than 1 MT although i can't verify that because of the confidential nature of the Indian Nuclear Program:).

India's nuclear warheads

  • Mk-4: For light weight 17Kt Fusion Boosted Fission (FBF) warhead. Mass: ~180 Kg.
  • Mk-5: For 50Kt FBF or 200Kt Thermo Nuclear (TN) warhead. Mass: ~340 Kg.
  • Mk-6: For 150Kt FBF warhead. Mass: ~550 Kg.

Great arguments on this thread sir.
You are trying to discuss the result of a tests, without evaluating test process, test data, processing mechanism, measurement system, device calibration, measurement system variance, based of hearsay and expecting a calibrated debate over the result and system analysis, I am not sure how many test processes you have led or testing regime protocols you might have authored which may be greater than what have done, but in my limited experience which encompasses design development & deployment of test protocols for large scale engineering sub systems, and authoring various subsections in engineering testing standards for the better part of a decade, I haven't been able to muster the ability of analysing test results without adequate data....

So let me return the praise to you sir, great argument presented by you indeed.

regards.

How about your own nuclear scientist saying so? I can google it for you if you want lol

Nobody is going to believe you have something unless it has been successfully tested.

How many years has the LCA been tested for? And it is still not even inducted.

Imagine you never tested the LCA even once, yet you ask people to believe that you have it.

Indian members here like to claim that they have ASAT and Thermonuclear capabilities even though they have never been successfully tested. Not once.

Would you buy a car that has never been tested?

At least our HGV has been successfully tested a large number of times, does that mean we already have HGV operational and inducted?

What makes you think that India has not done further nuclear tests after Pokhran-2.

Nuclear tests are easy to detect, especially if it is a Thermonuclear yield. All of India's nuclear tests are a matter of official record.
What if it is done in wilderness of Siberia. Anyways if you don't trust that Indian nuclear weapons can work, you must be trusting Russian nuclear weapons. If you trust Russian nuclear weapons work then you must believe that Indian nuclear weapons work.

I too come across at least one question everyday on our page, and our reply is that we have "more than enough sources to stop any sensible country from going nukes ." 80-120 war heads with a credible MIRV SLBM and a capable SSBN is what we need. Nothing more, nothing less.

Isn't it enough.
