And Indian cars are already in sale in Europe,they mostly have Euro NCAP 4 star ratings ( XUV 500 ,Tata Aria )

Fatkabaji and Thakbaji is the hallmark of Indian products generally. These lower middle class brain-washed morons will not understand that they cannot blindly support their country's products with their hard-earned money if the products are so pathetic. We in Bangladesh would not tolerate it - no sane person in any country would. Just to bring the discussion on topic - let's take a look at the brand new 'high quality' Rs 4,321 crore (about $720 million) Mumbai metro and their expertise,

Ohh there was a problem in the Delhi Metro.

The other day I was taking the train work here in Perth Australia, a place with $100,000+ average income and the train had broken down. I was 'stranded' too.

If this wasn't so pathetic it would be funny.

India is the last place we should ask for expertise with our metro. Even the Bangkok Metro is hundred rimes better.

Stupidity at its best again.Only the nano was the Indian car in that list.You wont buy because you guys just couldnt afford them.

And for the links-first one was Chinese manufactured,second one was a problem with a safety feature,.ie Automatic train protection.The train having problem with ATP was immediately removed - shows the safety standard of Delhi metro.

In what parameter is 20 km Bangkok metro better than Delhi ?

Nothing you guys say about 'high quality' and 'DMRC' will make a dent in it.

Look and Style : Great. Comfort : Good Pickup: Good Mileage: Good - 13-14 (I drove on highway for 700km). My car is now 1500 km driven Best Features : I bought XUV 500 W8 on Jan 15. and this is the list of issues I have faced in last 15 days:The car has been manufactured using worst quality material. So its not a low cost car..its a cheap car with inferior quality material and you end up spending the money that has not been spent on it. Think before buying it as any 16L vs XUV for 13L...but cost of fixing things up makes up for that 3L difference. Mahindra service centers and engineers have no answers to my questions:1. Break drums are rusted.You can see it visibly from outside. Mahindra blames the vendors. For evidence, check any other car/ SUV on road and you would know what I mean.2. Wipers are bad quality and if it rains and you use them, they cause scratches on the windscreen. It may not happen in the first 2 minutes of usage. It can be so bad that you may want to change your windscreen.3. Windscreen is single layered glass. Small pebble-touch can cause it to crack/ break. I have already replaced mine. I really thank Mahindra service center to do under warranty; however, it has scared me as it can happen again4. The beautiful headlights and are made of bad glass. I have driven my car 1500 km and there are spherical shadows in the headlights from where the light passes through.5. Aux unit does not work. Engineers have agreed that its a cause of worry in all the cars. You can test it using your iPod. You would not be able to hear the sound in all the speakers/ there would be continuous noise in audio quality.6. The awesome red colored central screen switches off and on, on its own. You wanna try it...open the box on top in the center of the car, right above the console. Bang it a little harder...ur touchscreen is likely to reboot! :)Please don't be happy if it doesn't as it may happen at any time. Surprise is the fun part!7. Hard suspension! you drive any car/ sedan/ SUV and you drive your XUV over the same speed breakers. You can feel the difference. XUV would throw you in all directions and you would feel all the bumps.8. Here is the shocker! Breaks suck! hand break is so bad that the car can slip any side depending on the side of the slope you are with your hand break pulled up. Try pulling the car up on a slope if you don't believe this.(Please do so under supervision as it may cause an accident. I drove the car in Simla and experienced this)

Whatever - I'm sure In Bangladeshi case rolling stock will also be Chinese guaranteed. Hasina can't afford the resulting negative reputation and flak...China is only low cost option for Bangladesh's first metro.

There is no problem with that car - It excels in many fields when compared to its chief competitor Suzuki Dzire (Suzuki swift sedan ).Your jealousy was evident from the previous post.

And before mocking Tata's R&D capabilities,learn that it ranks among worlds third largest in CV manufacturers & ranks 16 th largest overall.It is already selling their cars in developing & developed world

The fact is,you cannot even do what Tata did back in the '80s-Well,you can't even develop a 2 stroke moped engine yet!

There hasn't been a major incident in this system.Well Delhi Metro isn't a new system for your information.

experience in building 200 km of metro rail,completing projects ahead of schedule & operating a profitable MRT system is enough for building world class metro rails in Bangladesh.

Indians who have seen crap buildings around them for most of their lives. You guys need to get out more. Don't have to go far. Just go to Bangkok. They have built two new airports a couple of decades apart which look far better than this

Like Delhi was the only airport we built in a decade!! Check out Airports of Mumbai,Chennai,Kolkata,Hyderabad or any tier 2/tier 3 city in India

DMRC will NEVER be able to teach these LUNGIS how to build & operate state of the art Metro trains but I am worried that in the process, DMRC doesn't forget there own working............

A grand total of roughly 3000 new cars sold in Bangladesh every year. For comparison in 2013, Audi sold 10000 new cars in India ,Mercedez sold 9000 new cars, BMW sold 8000 new cars and VW some 90,000. I haven't even mentioned the Japanese companies yet, so go on tell us more about the Bangladeshi second hand 90's Jap imports and how affluent they make you feel. :lol:

I don't understand how Bangladeshis can shamelessly continue with their BS even after these posts of @Roybot , especially @Bilal9 . 2nd hand car buyers are talking about luxury here. :cuckoo: With a miniscule 2-3 car owners per thousand, I wonder how many Bangladeshis have actually seen a car in life.


On topic: India operates one of the largest and most complex network of railways running across a very big and diverse country with different kinds of terrain, soil, and climate conditions, carrying the highest number of passengers every year.

India is also operating one of the oldest underground metro railways in Asia, we have experience in building & operating hundreds of kilometers of metro railways, and with the several upcoming metro railways across India, soon the figures will be in thousands, and here Bangladeshis, who don't even have a credible public transport system in their capital city, are passing judgement on our expertise. First learn well to operate those ancient toy trains that you guys have.
