Divisions Persist.

.
That concept is a devious LIE created by the Army to usurp more power, and nothing based in law.
Pakistan is more important than law and bhutto made aain
And common Pakistanis say this pak army Pakistan ki nazariyati sarhadon ki muhafiz hai
Agar politicians k bas main hota to Pakistan ko baich chukay hotay ab tak

. . .
The basic premise of what the writer is saying is mistaken. Many would wish to see such division within USA, but they will be disappointed. The military is entitled to its own perspective in both countries, but it never formulates or leads policy, and always remains under civilian control in USA, while it sets the national agenda and operates above the law and civilian control in Pakistan.
You know that I hold a nuanced view of USA. I am not Amrika evil rubbish. But you assertion that military never formulates is too simplistic. Sometimes the tail can wagg the dog. And it does not have to drive Abrams tanks in front of White House for that. You of course will know about -

And yet you changed the title maliciously. Your thought process is quite evident. Nuanced? Not one bit. :D

Imran Khan has said multiple times that he personally likes presidential system over this system
I agree entirely. Of course it would not be a magic pill but it would lessen the problems.

It was mean't to be provocative. The underlying assumption is same as with PMIK. Being 'selected' or in case of Trump being the 'outsider' and not establisment compliant.

Yu did not address the point I made about the military or US establishment being a robot. The truth is it exerts huge influence on policy. At times it can wagg the dog.

u.s army not totally dictate trump, their army was against withdrawal of troops from Syria but trump ordered troops withdrawal and army obeyed it,similarly their army leadership wants troops to remain in afghanistan but trump wants withdrawal and that is the reason he met with ik

It is a violation of PDF rules, and I know you know better.

And I answered it in my first post to you. The US military is NOTHING like the Pakistani military and your attempted equivalence is totally false and dishonest.

Honestly, it did not occur to me. I will change it.

Will get to that later.

While Trump is not part of the US national security establishment he is part of the business elite or business establishment

Trump deviation from the orthodoxy has not produced results whether it is North Korea, Syria, Iran or Afghanistan

Just like Dear Dictator is not giving up his nukes in North Korea the Pakistani Army is not turning off the spigot for the Taliban
Trump will learn it the hard way.

Personally i think these circuses are to divert attention from the domestic messes

Strange thing is that when this division is seen inside Pakistan between the elected and establishment. For instance the military having a differant perspective it is seen as bad or indication of malfunctioning state?
Because in US one would resign in protest and in Pakistan something else happens.

Most of the time the cause of such tussels have been because on Political setup's insecurity and incompetence.
:lol::omghaha:

Agar politicians k bas main hota to Pakistan ko baich chukay hotay ab tak
Mind that it was struggle of Politicans, this nazriya was given birth by them.
