Lashkar-e-Taiba are freedom fighters: Musharraf

In an exclusive interview with NDTV, former president Pervez Musharaf said that anyone fighting in Kashmir for freedom is a mujahid.
Speaking about Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), he said “from our point of view, anyone who is fighting in Indian Kashmir is a mujahid fighting for freedom, fighting for the rights of the people of Kashmir”.

Defending LeT Musharraf said that one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter. The Indian Army is killing civilians and LeT is fighting against the Indian Army, he said. “Isn’t the Indian Army also a terrorist then?”

Glorifying a terrorist organisation, so designated by the UN and his own country, Pakistan, Musharraf shows himself to be a terrorism supporter, not for the first time.

He has the guts to travel to India, but NOT Pakistan. Shows how much faith he has in his own policies and stands. Even Jaish E Mohammed were freedom fighters too, that is before they tried to kill Musharraf LOL! For a great military dictator of a great islamic republic, he sure is afraid of karma!

Hypocrites strutting their stuff. We all know how warped the pakistani outlook is. They are a whole lot more interested in hurting india than they are about their own wellbeing. Its now "bash india and become a pak hero" .Mush is simply taking advantage of this and probably hoping to buy his ticket back to pakistan.

I dont want to be labelled as LET mouthpiece but you are mixing too many things together. You are putting TTP and LET in the same plate.

LET is one of the groups which was once threatened by TTP as they opposed TTP because of attacking Pakistan and Pak Army.

One is pro Pakistan and the other is anti Pakistan. So mixing them will be injustice.

Above is a rather interesting POV.
Much like trying to show the subtle difference between a "good" serpent and a "bad" serpent.
