H-energy a part of hiranandani group has proposed to build a pipeline to supply natural gas from Digha to Khulna power plant. 275 km long pipeline. Estimated investment of 1300 crore rupees.

After 2022-2023, energy at Resonable price will become the main issue. Previously govt was very keen on power plants run by imported LNG but recently a new revised master plan has been made and it looks like govt is not that much keen on LNG based power as before. Govt is still very keen to provide LNG to industries although.
