China's method is a constant war mode. So when war or war-like event happens, it mobilizes and handles well. But it comes with a cost during peace time.

US method is a constant peace-time effort. So when war or war-like event happens, it begins with chaos until it shifts to war mode. It doesn't pay the cost like China does during peace time but it pays at the beginning of a war.

The US is in constant war mode overseas where it is eternally at war with somebody. But its homeland is never attacked and this is why this crisis has come at a major shock to the American population. The American population has always known peace within its borders that's why they are very naive and actually believe the lies perpetrated by the MIC into thinking that our government is peaceful. In the entire American political class, the only ones with the courage to speak out against the MIC are Tulsi Gabbard and Ron Paul.

Yes, that is why 9/11 was also a similar shock to American population.

everyone here in the US knows wearing a mask is a good idea, but there's just aren't enough masks to go around so the gov is telling everyone to not wear masks to save the masks for the medicare workers and the sick.

The US has no "method", it's just constant chaos. Even if the US were fighting for its existence it would still be a total shambles with corrupt politicians profiteering and a disunited populace at each other's throats.

Shameful that health workers in other richer countries do not have the same level of protection as Chinese ones.

Question to the Chinese in China:
What is this

?

My father insists me to buy these. Is this just some homeopathic herbs?
Don't buy that crap, can say you that as Chinese

It is called "controlled chaos". Every vibrant society is like that. Orderly society is also a dead society.

Chinese virus cases numbers are totally fake, they are just in the game of global PR competition.

Oh please, what absolute garbage. That is the biggest pile of cr*p I've ever heard and anyone who believes it is a drooling simpleton. The US is not a vibrant society, it is just a geographic region on the verge of civil war. The only thing that has stopped it from exploding is that due to being the last man standing after WWII it parasitized the wealth of the entire world.

There are going to be millions, if not tens of millions of deaths because of this rampant incompetence. If you think there's anything worthwhile about the US system you're some combination of idiot and sociopath. Given that you also said "orderly society is a dead society" I'm guessing it's more of the latter with you.

Good thing you live in America. You're where you belong, with the savages. Enjoy the "controlled chaos."

No, they're not fake. China put an end to this crisis within its borders and you are going to die like flies because the Chinese government is competent and effective and your government is a joke. It's that simple.

That is why you and many Chinese officials don't understand markets. Markets ARE controlled chaos. Without chaos, markets have no lives. Without control, markets cannot last long. It is a common scene in China that without control, market goes haywire. With control, it becomes stagnant. I wonder if you know that phase: 一放就乱,一管就死. It is an art to maintain a controlled chaos. That art is usually called "rule of law".

Look, the last thing I'm going to do is get into a philosophical discussion about markets and governance with a Randroid. Like I said, enjoy your "controlled chaos" with a man-child president wiping his a*s with your constitution. You have no idea what the words "rule" or "law" mean, let along combining them into a phrase.

The West's day is done. All of the lies it told itself and about itself are going into the trash can where they belong. People like you no longer hold any sway - the only reaction you'll get anywhere in China (or anywhere else for that matter) to your drivel about free markets is laughter. The 2008 financial collapse put your ideology on its knees, COVID-19 is going to finish the job.

What I have long believed will soon be a universal truth: China's example in fusing the finest elements of its historical tradition with modernity is the path forward for humanity. Every culture will understand and welcome the truth that it can have modernity on its own terms. No more Washington Consensus, no more Chicago School vultures masquerading as economists plundering their wealth, no more IMF shock therapy and debt traps.

The world has awoken from the nightmare.

Nearly 100 years ago, the world was in awe of the orderliness of nazi germany and fascist italy. Fascism was in vogue in US. President Roosevelt was so impressed by it that he sent his close aid to Italy in order to study its model. His entire New Deal was modeled after Fascism. Mussolini liked it so much that he called President Roosevelt "a fellow fascist".

Something never changes in this world. People are always pursuing dreams that have proven themselves wrong over and over. People are always discrediting what have been working just because it has flaws.

Who gives a f*ck about a hundred years ago? 500 years ago the US didn't exist and China was on top of the world. So?

I'm talking about today. You can comfort yourself with stories about a hundred years ago as your country circles the drain.

Forgetting the history means betrayal. Guess who said it? It is very common among those who call themselves "progressive" to think people have changed because they want to comfort themselves to think that they are better. No, people haven't changed in thousands of years. The same mental deficiency has remained intact since people walked out of caves. Just watch closely on how your mind works when you spat out the F word.

I haven't forgotten history, it's just that the US is so short-lived and ephemeral that calling something "American history" seems to be an abuse of the term. China is thousands of years old, and it's just one of many cultures with such ancient histories. And in much of that history, China was on top of the world. A conservative like you who purports to respect history welcomes this return to historical norm, I'm sure.

I'll make a small concession to your position: it may (I stress may) have been necessary for a society to have the peculiar blend of philosophical and historical circumstances present in Western Europe and North America in the late 18th century to bootstrap an industrial revolution, much like an internal combustion engine requires a battery to start. But here's the thing: the engine has already started in China, and those ideologies that came along with the West's Industrial Revolution are no longer necessary. China has hybridized technological advancement through capital accumulation (the only worthwhile thing the West ever came up with) with a modernized version of its ancient ruling philosophies. This has allowed it to ascend beyond the West, which is held back by that ideological baggage you're so fond of. This hasn't just shown its superiority in times of crisis like COVID-19, but even in normal times. In the future, it will allow China to access phases of human development that are closed to the West - the higher phases of socialism and, ultimately, communism.

There will be a new historical condition like the Industrial Revolution emerging from China that will spread around the world. This time, the West will be the victims of it.
