Difference between an independent country and Bangladesh

Most important disposition of an independent nation is safeguarding its citizen and its sovereignty. Nepal, a land locked country solely dependent on india for its export & import, shown how an independent country assert its sovereignty against heavy odd. In 2015, when Nepal redone its constitution, india put blockade on Nepal to force constitutional change. But Nepal hold its ground even in face of indian blockade.

Just 4 days ago brutal indian border guard, BSF open fired and killed a Nepali youth in Anandabazaar near the border with India.

Whole Nepal erupted with anti indian protest.

As usual indian embassy in Katmandu resorted to blatant lie and denied BSF killing Nepali youth. But resolve of Nepal people forced Indian national security advisor to call Nepali PM (on behalf of indian PM) and offered pseudo apology and promise to carry out investigation in BSF killing.

There is reason why this incident is important for Bangladesh and Bangladeshis to observe, learn and ponder upon.

Awami league, a subservient indian regime, used brutal police force, torture and introduced draconian law to suppress and harass any protest or voice against continuous indian killings of Bangladeshis at border. After Felani’s killing (a young Bangladeshi girl who was brutally shot by indian BSF and left to die in the border fence), subservient awami league regime even prevented journalists from meeting her family.

Recently there was a civic seminar to discuss indian border killing of Bangladeshi citizens but subservient awami league regime on instruction from india blocked the seminar and asked panel to go home.

Since Peelkhana massacre, at onset of awami league assuming power in 2009, Bangladesh Rifles (BDR), once vanguard of Bangladesh border was systematically destroyed. Awami league, an indian subservient and dictatorial regime, on instruction from india, ordered BDR to put down arms at border while facing indian hostility. Awami league heavily recruited its cadre into Bangladesh border guard who had been seen smiling when accepting dead body of Bangladeshi killed by indian BSF.

Compare to Nepali resolve and action for its citizen, can any sane Bangladeshi (except awami league cadres) can claim Bangladesh is an independent country? Obviously not; not with awami league blatant submission of Bangladesh sovereignty to india.

Hasina is doing these to set up a dynasty in BD, where only she and her family will have the legitimacy to rule. All other historical respectful figures will be forgotten or vilify them. She is choosing her party recruitment wisely. No quality is needed there. Formed by mostly smugglers, thugs, thieves, robbers, land grabbers, murderers, prostitutes, maids, muscleman. These people will never challenge Hasina regime, only they care is power and money. Officials are chosen carefully whom are loyal to Hasina and will never challenge Hasina. These groups together are active to silent opposition or quell any legitimate demands. Rational thoughts are long gone. She thinks India is essential to implement and embed her power ultimately. Where she will be the uncontested queen of the chess board. India for time being goes with her finding ways to oust the queen when time is ripe.

নেপলের ভারতীয় সীমান্ত এলাকা কাঞ্চননগর জেলায় গোবিন্দ গৌতম (২৯) এক যুবক নিহত হয়েছেন ইন্ডিয়ান সীমান্তরক্ষী বাহিনীর গুলিতে। এতে পুরো নেপাল জুড়ে বিক্ষোভ হয়েছে। গত বৃহস্পতিবার ঘটনাটি ঘটে। এর মাঝে বিক্ষোভ ছড়িয়ে পড়লে ইন্ডিয়ান জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা উপদেষ্টা ফোন করেন নেপালের প্রধানমন্ত্রীকে। গত রোববার ইন্ডিয়ান জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা উপদেষ্টা অজিত দোভাল ফোন করেন নেপালের প্রধানমন্ত্রী পুষ্প কমল দহলকে। এসময় তিনি ঘটনার জন্য দু:খ প্রকাশ করেন। তবে ইন্ডিয়ার সীমান্তরক্ষী বাহিনী আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ঘটনাটি অস্বীকার করেছে। সীমান্ত নিয়ে বিরোধপূর্ন একটি এলাকায় সংস্কার কাজ নিয়ে বিরোধের জের ধরে এ ঘটনা ঘটে।


এদিকে নেপাল গোবিন্দ গোতমকে রাষ্ট্রীয় মর্যাদায় চিরবিদায় জানিয়েছে। তাকে ‘শহীদ’ হিসাবে আখ্যায়িত করেছে নেপাল।

কিন্তু প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে ভিণœ জায়গায়। আমাদের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের চেতনায় ভাসমান দেশের সীমান্তে ইন্ডিয়া প্রতিদিন মানুষ খুন করছে। শুধু ২০০৯ তেকে ২০১২ সালের একটি বেসরকারি পরিসংখ্যা এখানে উল্লেখ করছি। ২০০৯ সালে হানাদার বিএসএফ-এর গুলিতে সীমান্ত এলাকায় নিহত হয় ৯৮ জন, ২০১০ সালে ৭৮জন, ২০১১ সালে ৩১জন ও ২০১২ সালে ৩৮জন। বেসরকারি মানবাধিকার সংগঠন ‘অধিকার’ পত্রিকায় প্রকাশিত সংবাদ ও তাদের নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধির মাধ্যমে এই হিসাব তৈরি করেছে। এর বারই আরো নানা রকম নির্যাতনের ঘটনা প্রতিনিয়ত ঘটে সীমান্তে। এক হিসাবে দেখা যায় দুনিয়ার আর কোন সীমান্তে এত হত্যাকান্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে না। এমনকি চির বিরোধপূর্ণ ফিলিস্থিন-ইসরাইল সীমান্তেও নয়।

একজনের নিহত হওয়ার ঘটনায় পুরো দেশ জুড়ে বিক্ষোভ হয়েছে নেপালে। শত মানুষের হত্যাকান্ডে চেতনায় ভাসমান দেশের মানুষ নীরব। কেউ কথা বলে না। ধরে নেয়া যায় বর্তমান ফ্যাসিবাদী শাসকগোষ্ঠী ইন্ডিয়ান তাবেদারী করছে। ২০১৩ সালের ১৫ জানুয়ারী তৎকালীন স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী মহিউদ্দিন খান আলমগীর সীমান্ত হত্যাকান্ডের পক্ষে সাফাই গাইতে গিয়ে বলেছিলেন-আত্মরক্ষার্থে সীমান্তে গুলি চালায় বিএসএফ। আওয়ামীপন্থি বাংলা নিউজ২৪.কম-এর সেই প্রতিবেদনটি এখানে হুবহু দেওয়া আছে।

সম্প্রতি গত ১ ফেব্রুয়ারী একই কথা বলেছেন আমাদের সীমান্ত পাহারাদার বাহিনী বিজিবি’র মহাপরিচালক। চুয়াডাঙ্গা সীমান্তে এক বাংলাদেশীকে বিএসএফ কতৃক হত্যা প্রসঙ্গে সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নের জবাবে বিজিবি মহাপরিচালক আবুল হোসেন এক কথা বলেন।

প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে ইন্ডিয়ান তাবেদার ফ্যাসিবাদী সরকার কোন প্রতিবাদ করবে না। বরং সাফাই গাইবে। এটা স্বাভাবিক। কিন্তু যারা ক্ষমতায় যেতে চায় তারা কি করছেন!! সীমান্ত হত্যা নিয়ে প্রতিবাদ না করে নীরব থাকা কি এটাকে সমর্থন নয়!!!

In the name of diesel import awami league and sheikh mujib family is handing $700 million of Bangladesh tax payer money to indians.

Currently, the BPC (Bangladesh Petroleum Corp.) has been importing diesel from international market at a premium rate of around $2.50 per barrel to the MoPAG diesel assessments on CFR basis.

BUT

(BPC) would import diesel from the BPCL-owned Numaligarh refinery for 15 years at double the premium rate prevailing in the international market, a senior BPC official told the FE Wednesday.

A final deal on the issue is expected to be inked next month during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to India, said the official.

The Indian state-owned BPCL would export around 1.0 million tonnes of 0.20 per cent sulfur diesel to Bangladesh for 15 years through this pipeline.

The BPC and the BPCL also agreed on the premium rate at US$ 5.50 per barrel to Mean of Platts Arab Gulf (MoPAG) diesel assessment on cost and freight (CFR) basis meaning that the price would be above US$ 5.50 per barrel from international price of diesel.

In northers Bangladesh diesel mostly used by farmers for irrigation. That means, in addition to looting $700 million from Bangladeshi farmers, cost of agricultural production will go up and that is to benefit indian export at expanse of Bangladeshi farmers.

awami league made Bangladesh the perfect colony of india; independence of Bangladesh is just sham and whatever defense force exists are just a mercenary force and excess.

Bangladeshis pay more as toll, tax and license fees than indians are paying as "transit fees". When Bangladeshis are made 2nd class citizen in their own country and indians enjoy 1st class privilege, current state of farcical independence of Bangladesh once again exposed.

Difference between independent country and Bangladesh is the fact that in an independent country you do not have a strong party that opposed independence in the first place. The same party and their "chela pela" like the thread opener here is out to take revenge for their loss in 71.
