we couldn't trust Pakistan so we had to risk it. even in the Fox News interview with the guy who killed Bin Laden he said a few times he was scared he was going to shoot down by a SAM while crossing into a SOVEREIGN nation that they have every right to shoot them down, and he mentioned again leaving on the chinook he was holding his breathe til they got to Afghanistan

Its just like Pakistan army knows CIA has planted drone spotters in FATA. They must know who they are. After ISI being an intel agency cant be ignorant of these spotters for so long!

It is entertaining to see Pakistanis try to spin this into something where Pakistan comes out looking good. About the raid itself:
1) Pakistan knew, and did nothing but complain later and lie about not knowing, or
2) Pakistan knew, and participated by looking the other way, and complaining and lying later, or
3) Pakistan did not know, because they were not capable enough to determine that "hostile" aircraft where over their military town and flying around the country-side or not capable of responding in a timely fashion, or
4) Part of the Pakistani infrastructure knew and another part did not know, and they did not work together (in fact, one was deceiving the other and working at cross-purposes).

Further, regarding OBL, the same logic - some part of the infrastructure knew, and was helping to hide him, or the whole infrastructure was clueless that the most wanted man in the world was living in their Arlington.

There is no scenario where Pakistan looks like a solid country with a working government, military and intelligence apparatus.

Which one, so far three different people have come forward with claims of them being the "Hero Killer" despite reports tha the whole original team was mysteriously killed in a helo shot down. Besides there are many reports that no one on the ship ever saw any body brought on it or any sea burial happened. There are also reports that a large number of soldiers/sailors from that particular ship were discharged because they refused to lie.

its take 5 minutes to F16 to go to border of AFGHANISTAN people in the area heard the noise of 3 of them.. they were there for 27 minutes, for example if they missed them comming they definatily cud have catch them when they were leaving, dont forget it was close to ISI office.
comming from the road is different story but helicopter i dont thnk so..
given a safe passage to us to have atleast one mission complete, if they killed him in AFG it woudnt be highlited as much as it was in pakistan,
they have show pics of Ghaddfi and saddam why not OBL

Everybody knows US was not alone in this operation ISI and Pak Army Helped them in that Operation.
If Pakistan's President giving good wishes after this operation how can you Imagine authorities was unaware.
Anyway if Someone conduct such type of operation in Pakistan without giving info or getting permission. Then Pak Army can respond with full power.

The Army did not know or know is just speculation. There will be rumours of the whole Government and Army setup knowing to only a few moles who knew and kept Radar reports hidden. The point is, there was a terrorist hiding next to the military training centre and no one knew about it.. and worst.. the Mullahs mourned him.
