China has now reached a point of great crisis. WW3 can easily break out now that Japan is determined to deploy its army to Diaoyu Island. USA has also declared that it stands with Japan against China without reservation.

Admiral Luo Yuan has declared that China must fully employ our anti-access capability to prevail in this conflict. In response to Japan's militarization of Diaoyu Island, we must mine its territorial waters to sink Japan's navy ships and use the islands as a bombing range to blow away Japan's army soldiers. As our blue water navy takes form over the next 5 to 10 years, we will be in a better position to directly establish control over Diaoyu Islands.

If necessary, we'll use these islands to test nuclear mines and nuclear missiles! If China cannot establish control over the islands yet because of Japan and USA's combined navy might, we will use our anti-access capabilities to make sure they cannot control it either!

What are you on Hong?

You keep talking like you want war, from the safety of your keyboard.

If you want to fight, go to Japan and pick a fight, in person.

If you live you can post about it later.

Just wait and see. Little Kim is coming to Beijing next month and they will be discussing how PLA will pass through North Korean territory to directly threaten Japan's home islands. The odds are very high that within one year a Japanese coast guard ship patroling Diaoyu Islands will sink after hitting a Chinese mine.

Have ROC and PRC even adminstrated Diaoyu Island ever?

(Reuters) - The Japanese government on Monday refused to let Tokyo metropolitan authorities land on islands at the centre of a territorial dispute with China, a move aimed at defusing tensions that led to biggest anti-Japan protests in years.

Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara has proposed buying the islands from their private Japanese owners and has sought central government permission to send a team of officials to survey the land.

The plan has prompted Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda to suggest that the central government could instead buy the islands it now leases. Both plans sparked outrage in China.

"The government has reached a conclusion of not permitting landing based on the purpose of its lease, which aims at peaceful and stable management and control of the Senkaku islands," a government official said.

The decision comes after anti-Japanese demonstrations in some Chinese cities over the weekend, which followed much bigger protests a week earlier.

The uninhabited islands known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China have long been a source of friction between Tokyo and Beijing and competing territorial claims to the islets and surrounding fishing areas and potentially rich gas deposits.

Tensions over the islands flared in mid-August, when the Japanese coast guard detained Chinese activists who sailed from Hong Kong and landed on the island. Tokyo sent the group back home without charging them to calm things down, but a landing of Japanese nationalists just days later led to another flare-up.

Thousands of people in several Chinese cities took to the streets in biggest anti-Japanese protests in years after the tit-for-tat landings.

Tokyo also remains locked in a bitter feud with South Korea over another disputed island chain.

In a symbolic, but rare gesture the Japanese parliament on Friday passed two resolutions asserting Japan's sovereignty over both island chains, calling Seoul's control over one of them a "illegal occupation" that should end soon.

The resolutions prompted angry rebukes from Seoul and Beijing in an escalating war of words.

Despite close economic ties, bitter memories of Japanese militarism run deep in China and South Korea. The territorial disputes show how the region has failed to resolve differences nearly seven decades after the end of World War Two.

The Japanese government is backing down and take a more diplomatic approach. This move certainly doesn't sit well with the extreme right nationalists.

It is becoming usual for Chinese to claim every thing and talking of a war if they refuse.

Your knowledge of the East China Sea disputes are rather limited and you should know the historical background before you point an accusing finger to any party. As far as the Diaoyu Dao is concerned it was left as 'dispute territory' among China, Taiwan and Japan until the Tokyo far rightist, Shintaro Ishihara, stirred up the hornets' nest and China only reacts to the provocation.

In South China Sea (SCS) if China is the aggressor as you call it, what do you label Vietnam, Taiwan and Philippines who, incidentally, have more or less the same claims?

World War II is long over for Chinese. But Japan repeatedly reminds us of that history. Tokyo has never honestly faced that war. No sincere remorse can be felt in its attitude toward China. On the contrary, it tries to make up for defeat in the past with new sources of conflict with its neighbor.

If a new war breaks out between China and Japan, it may well take on an aspect of revenge. Let it be said, however, that China has no plan to square up with Japan. Hatred toward Japan has been a topic of restraint in Chinese media and in remarks by officials. In the Diaoyu issue, Japan has repeatedly mentioned the deployment of Self-Defense Forces.

Japan mustn't go too far in provoking China. Japanese officials should think twice before uttering provocative words. In modern history, all the conflicts between China and Japan were caused by Japanese invasion. Japan has no right to attack China bitterly as it does today. The Chinese public has boundless antipathy toward Japan.

While both sides are claiming sovereignty over Diaoyu, Japan is escalating the situation as its Defense Minister Satoshi Morimoto warned against Chinese side moving one millimeter closer to Diaoyu and threatened the use of Self-Defense Forces. It is inviting the participation of the Chinese navy.

The wise strategy for Japan is to keep the conflict under control. Japan will pay a huge price if it continues this insanity.

Japan controlled senkaku Islands until the end of second world war and US controlled them until 1972, after that they were transferred to Japan, China never controlled them and Until the 21st century that is of Late they are claiming them.
Which proves Chinese are agressors in this case.

This is the worrying part.
It appears more and more the CCP is loosing control over the PLA and the hawkish generals/admirals get more influence. Just like Japan prior to their entry in WWII.

Please tell me you are not serious,

Japan controlled half of China until end of world war 2.

British controlled India until end of world war 2.

Are you saying Japan/Germany should have kept their land gained by invasion?
