I am honestly not sure. It is very possible though, as South Indians were known as some of the best iron-makers in the world during ancient times.

No genetics says otherwise, their has been limited input from central asia but primarily folks living along Indus region (with exception of Iranic Pashtuns and Balochs who have integrated into this region) are descended from neolithic farmers who were living here from Kashmir to Southern Iran.

believe me, that's just scratching the surface. There is so much more information that sadly, is largely unkown to the majority of Indians and the world. That is the reason I post threads about the ancient histories of lesser-known regions. To educate other Indian members about our ancient and glorious history, and to ensure that nobody(especially Pakistanis) tries to put down or belittle our heritage out of jealousy, spite, or insecurity/

Problem is that majority of courses in history do not include south indian civilizations
I have studied history ,more specifically ancient history but i am yet to fully cover south indian history due to the fact that its not appreciated and simply ignored
