Dhaka, Delhi set to sign power deal and 2,640 MW power plant

Yindoo, bharti, RAW agent/dalal Awami La hasina doing everything for the development of Bangladesh and controlling extremists, jamaati, BNP anti Bangladesh and anti Bangla razokar.

Even better part is that now you have the balls to give fatwa who is Pro Bangladeshi and who is Anti Bangladeshi. lolzzz.

.
^ of course we can we are ruling BD thorugh our Awami stooges .. just like our agents in collaboration with Jew, yankkes , mosad, kfc, etc are root cause of all and every evil in pakistan.

Aree yaar, aap logo ne to pahele se hi BD members ke word chura liya. Bade hi batmiz ho. :)

Bangladesh doesn't need this low quality electricity from India. IMO it'll be much better to import from Japan

We are so evil . Will export Poverty,AIDS through power lines...

Ya AIDS is communal diseases can be exported through power lines, but how about Poverty. Care to explain or you mean to export Gens of Poverty ? :cheesy:

Cant disclose this top secret formula.. We can transmit anything we want through Power lines since there will be no Transit Fees involved..

In that case your verbal diarrhea might be because of ISI and LET since every thing evil happening in Bharat is because of ISI and Pakistan. ;)

True and Well Said.

All the bhartis always seems to remain in dilution .... just for reminder this 2 power plant in khulna and chittagong will be built in Bangladesh not in India so that India will transfer electricity. But as usual massive secrecy and likely fraud are associated with this deal. If any one look closely in to the deal he/she will find it nothing but a bharti appeasement deal. I have also talked about this deal couple of times here.

Now lets see whats in this deal. According to this deal this is a public private partnership deal and as usual this deal has been given to the bharatis without any tender. Previously it was said this deal is worth 2.6 billion USD for the 2 plant but now it has been shown 1.5-1.8 billion each means 3 to 3.6 billion USD for the 2 power plant deal will need to be spent. This is not a small amount or charity that this contract can be given to the bharatis without any tender. As we know by inviting international tender we could select the best company... if bhartis could have provided best bid then none would have any problem. But reality is that so far bhartis failed to win any contract through tender. Another dimension of the deal is that all the coal that will be used will be imported from India. In other words this is a 2 way deal for the bharti appeasement.

If any one goes more in to details he/she will find it out that still it has not been disclosed at what rate government will have to buy electricity from this power plant.... this is really important as the rate per unit current will determine to what extant it will be feasible and economically viable for the government to handle this project. This can be compared to a hungry man who was dying for hunger ... so some one has brought food for him from a five star hotel. So he survived at that occasion. But if he is continuously given food from five star that he can not afford then he will not survive in the long run. Same case is also here... as success of the project will depend on the rate of per unit current. We have already seen what a disaster the private rental power plants has become due to the high rate of per unit current.

If any one goes more into details he/she will find it out that Bhartis will be fully in charge for the operation and maintenance of the plants and the reason for this is given is really funny and ridiculous..

"""" When asked why the NTPC would take the lead in management and operation of the power plant, Azad said that the PDB had little knowledge of operating coal-fired power plants although it runs the Barapukuria 250MW plant in Dinajpur.
‘As you know, the Barapukuria plant is not managed and operated efficiently. The NTPC, which has long experience in operating coal-fired plants, will be responsible for management and we want to gather knowledge and experience by working alongside,’ he said.
Azad said the plant would be operated like an independent power plant of the country’s private sector from where the PDB purchases electricity.
PDB’s chairman Alamgir said that around $1.7 to $1.8 billion would be needed to install the plant.""""

So, at first they pointed out they do not have expertise to operate coal fired pant and then after pointing out that Bangladesh is already operating Barapukuria plant this people came up with more funny excuse that Barapukuria power plant is not operated efficiently. If so what step you have taken to make that efficient??? And how long it takes to get the know how to operate coal fired power plant??? Power sector is the biggest engineering sector in BD and I personally know many qualified engineers work over there. So just giving them some training would be more then enough to get the knowledge how to operate coal fired plant. Even if we need to go by the bharti management idea... after 2, 3 or 5 years we could easily take the control back from the bhartis after getting the know how but no such provision has been kept or mentioned so far.

If we really need a power plant under private sector we could offer a tender through which we could get 100s of business deal and from that we could select the best company and we would also get better pricing for the current instead now the way it will fixed ie. negotiation. This is utterly disgusting that this AL government is wasting 3.5-3.6 billion USD just for bharti appeasement including all the lose that bd will suffer due to high pricing of electricity and importing coal from the bhartis instead trying to get it from Bangladesh. Already BD government provided bhartis 200k USD for the feasibility study.

But as high court ruled not to make any power plant near sundarban area of khulna lets see how far this project goes through...
