DG ISPR PRESS RELEASE.

Pakistan Army’s Team participated in Exercise Cambrian Patrol - 2024, which was held at Wales, UK from 04-13 October 2024. This year, Exercise Cambrian Patrol celebrated its 65th year.

The exercise has retained its demanding professional standards; patrols all across from the globe had to move tactically across inhospitable terrain, covering a distance of 60 kms within 48 hours, completing specialist tasks in a contested environment.

This year, 128 teams from 42 Countries particpated in the Exercise and out of all these teams, Pakistan Army’s Team showed Exceptional Performance in the exercise and has been awarded with the Gold Medal.

It is indeed a proud moment for the whole Nation and Pakistan Army, which is known for its professionalism and highest standards of training. Pakistan Army has always held Country's flag high, Alhamdulillah.

H.E. Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, met General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, discussions were held on regional dynamics and the enhancement of bilateral security and defence cooperation between the two nations.
COAS reaffirmed Pakistan’s appreciation for Belarus’s contributions to global and regional affairs and expressed the desire to further strengthen the military partnership between both countries.
Prime Minister Golovchenko commended the Pakistan Armed Forces for their pivotal role in promoting regional peace and stability, and acknowledged their professionalism and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
 
Pakistan Navy Cadets secured success at the 79th Naval Academy International Sailing Championship held in #Brazil

PakNavy cadets secured second position and received the silver medal

In total cadets from nine Naval Academies took part in J-24 class sailing boats.

Naval Academy Cadets of Brazil, Italy, China, Columbia, Portugal, Argentine, Peru and India participated in the competition.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, congratulated the Cadets for securing second success in last three months.
