Developments and Turkish operations in Libya

Haha honestly that summarizes the entire relationship between France and Turkey.

Neither goverments have been democraticaly chosen nor are they paragons of it so those numbers are just pulled out of your arze. The truth of the matter is that the GNA is the legitimate goverment of Libya in the eyes of the international community and institutes. Its all about legitimacy, and LNA has none.
Check the 2012 election with 60% turnout.....your MB got 10 %.....representative my foot....The ones who got over 50% are behind Haftar, atleast they have the popular vote of the Libyan people not the AK's of imported al nusra fighters from Syria.

.
The degrading situation is not only a threat to France and its interests, but also for its allies in the Sahel and the French anti terror forces stationed there. We do not see with a good eye all those jihadists Turkey brought from Syria too. The fact Turkey is aligned with Qatar and MBs isn't also well seen in Paris.

Can you explain it more.
Which frinds and inerests you talking about?
Are you against all jihadists or special this ones?
Why France has a problem with Turkey and Qatar as allies?
Who is MBs?

Why you obssesed with jihadists as you care people?

'legitimacy' is from a UN viewpoint which is based off who controls the capital city. And what makes a certain city a capital? nothing but legislative political paperwork. This is why during the Yemeni war, the 'capital' was changed from Houthi controlled Sana'a to Aden. Both cities are of the same importance level.

Not that you care. This entire section knows nothing about Libya and has no interest in it other than spreading Turkish influence.

.
More reasons to have a directly controlled strong man in charge who can mopp it up when need be.

Agree to disagree, the 2014 elections saw the islamists defeated in Libya.

I shall remind everyone that Haftar is backed by the only body ever to be elected democratically in Libya...the parliament aka HoR while no one voted the GNA and they took power via a coup d'etat.

Say a (bloody) dictator. And if he runs out of our interest we will coup him for a new one, with all the collateral damage for the country, just only to teach the people in democracy and human rights. BRAVO!

Wait, you're boasting 50% of a 60% turnout in 2012, calling it a popular vote and arguing it in 2020?

So we should instead be in favor of a warlord who kills people, buries anyone opposes him in mass graves or dumping their bodies in well, leaving booby traps and ied's in civilian areas, on teddy bears, child toys? He really loves Libya a lot, yes he does indeed that is why he ,altogether with paid militias and all foreigner support, tried to capture Tripoli?
Oh he loves Libya a lot indeed, he flipped ceasefire talks multiple times when he had upper hand in tripoli campaign, he even left meetings in the middle arrogantly.
The matter is not whether GNA or LNA is legitimate, the matter is that Haftar has no legitimacy, he is at his position by coup and force.
This thread is far better and neutral than the threads, with pure biased-fake pro-Haftar news, created by guys like you.

. . .
In exchange with permission for AA system deployment from Qatar, who knows just maybe.
If that were to happen, the political message behind being allowed to deploy PAC-2(3) would be like an earthquake hitting LNA, Egypt and UAE.

Better than no vote? Because 2012 and 2014 were the last elections they had?

Btw, Turkey insists about this UN recognised goverment while backing a non entity in Cyprus against the official UN recognized goverment.

Better than? Why?
Btw - the UN endorsed Annan Plan, who rejected that?

Did you even check it yourself ? Because the number you tell are bulshite.

Anyways like I said in my previous message.....previous election dont matter after both party supported GNA, the UN recognized govt in 2016.

If they wanted to keep the legitimacy they should not supported it in 2016, but they did so GNA is now the official govt.

Worst, the Tobrouk parlement become a joke when they made a volt face to Haftar, the same man who decide to ignore this same parlement and speaking about "mandat form the people".
