The park was ceremonially opened by then President Pervez Musharraf on February 27, 2007. It was created by the Clifton Beach Development Project on the location of the former Toyland Theme Park at a cost of PKR 600 million

The goal was availability of cheap area for people of Karachi to take their families sight seeing

The park is/WAS located near the Clifton beach and is Karachi's largest urban park, covering 130 acres (0.53 km2) and visited by over 10 million people each year.

This was a free view to People of Pakistan rich/poor

10 Years after completion and due to Neglect of PPP sindh Government
The park now look pretty much like a desert , wth its once solid structures crumbling and the lush green grass all gone replaced with "dirt"

Meanwhile it is quite visible that Corporation buildings are poping up on areas designated for people of Pakistan (Free areas)

Now if Billions are recovered from Sherjil Memon home we know where the City of Karachi funding is going

The neglect can also be seen by Sattelite Video as the Park was one of the largest project for Parks

Obviously Sindh government has no funds to fix Karachi or Sindh , as most money for city and province is distributed and eaten up by Politicians , just look at 2 billion money recovered from Sherjil Memon home (2 Billion Rupees)

Either the secret service / Rangers were correct or this goon who was on run for 1-2 years overseas when his money was captured from his home property

The resident of City / Country itself were promised a "Sustained" Park and large stretch of Sea view , free of any charges. Only after such promise was given that some residential development projects were approved for city in the exclusive "Port" areas

However as usual , after few years passes the funding for the maintence of Public projects remains missing and Orphaned status for Masses.

I hope that the people involved in the census are sincere, and I hope no changes are done to the census results, if the number of provincial assembly seats is increased, for the cities, in Sindh, PPP will have a very tough time in gaining a majority or even power, if and only if the constituencies are designed properly based on true results of the census.
