Boeing has released another trove of internal company messages suggesting it lied to regulators, and showing fierce criticism from an unnamed employee who said the crash-prone 737 MAX aircraft was “designed by clowns.”
In its release of the redacted communications on Thursday following an internal probe, Boeing acknowledged some of the messages were “completely unacceptable” and contained “provocative language.” In one missive sent in 2017, an employee castigated the 737 MAX – which was grounded globally last March after a series of fatal crashes – slamming both its designers and ‘supervisors,’ apparently referring to federal regulators.

This airplane is designed by clowns who in turn are supervised by monkeys.

The employee has not been named, and it is not clear what problems he had identified with the MAX at the time.

Another damning message sent in 2018 shows an employee grappling with ethical concerns, telling a colleague “I still haven’t been forgiven by God for the covering up I did last year,” another apparent reference to the company’s interactions with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

In addition to the faulty flight control system thought to have caused the two MAX crashes, the aircraft’s flight simulators also came under fire by employees in the internal messages.

“Would you put your family on a Max simulator trained aircraft? I wouldn’t,” one employee asked a coworker, who simply replied: “No.”

In a statement issued along with the documents, Boeing apologized “to the FAA, Congress, our airline customers, and to the flying public” for the “content of these communications,” adding it would pursue “disciplinary or other personnel action, once the necessary reviews are completed.”

An FAA spokesman, however, noted the documents do not reveal any new safety risks with the 737 MAX’s simulators, despite the potentially incriminating communiques indicating employees concealed problems from the agency.

Clowns is a good word to describe Boeing engineers.
Monkeys is a good word to describe FAA employees.

Boeing need profits no matter what . its now risky to fly new Boeing aircraft's

MAX do has issues but saying that Boeing calculatingly covered those issues is just propaganda that too rather a thick-witted one.
Boeing was just caught off guard regarding these issues.

Where do you see someone saying Boeing did this "calculatingly" ?

Boeing was just caught off guard regarding these issues.

Oh poor lil Boeing just "caught off guard". Tell that to famillies of hudreds of people that died because of Boeing's cover-up

Boeing's go to method has been to blame pilots, especially non-white pilots.
Social Media prevented them otherwise their propaganda teams were in full flow. They had multi thousand word "expose" published in the NYT and Wa Po.

In earlier times that would have sufficed, but for social medias many ills, it managed to get their feet to the fire.

lol, you think it's just risky to fly Boeing? You probably need to think again. Because I know for a fact that everyone did the same thing, the only things is, this time it was Boeing that got caught.

If you understand how Aircraft manufacturer, all of them not just Boeing, balance safety and profit and how and what is the deal they have with the certification body, you probably never set foot on an aircraft again.

The math is simple, you design an aircraft, you found flaw. On one side, you either need to stop production (if those aircraft is not yet in service) or pull them off flight line (if they are already in service), once you do, those aircraft would have been on your hanger or maintenance base waiting to be fix instead of earning money. On the other, you keep flying them until the next cycle they are taking off line for checks. Yes, you may have a plane went down once a year or once every 2 year, and then you will need to deal with the aftermath. Care to guess which one loss more money for Aircraft Manufacturer and Airline?

There are these gentlemen agreement which the bodies found flaw and FAA or CASA give them X amount of time to fix them all meanwhile issuing them with AWC, basically gamble everyone life with it. But in the end, they can take one or two or three planes go down, it would still cost less than grounding them all and fix them in one go in the first place.

And unfortunately, this have been going on since 1970s, and both Airbus and Boeing are playing these type of game, you have the C lock from the Boeing 747 Cargo Door (United Flight 881), DC-10 cargo door locking (similar to the Boeing 747) Pitot Tube from the A330 (which partly lead to the infamous AF447 crash) and you have the 737 tail stabiliser, rivoting joint incident and so on.

And you know what? Things are not going to change, until profit model swing toward safety. That's because unless you never get on a plane, you accept a certain risk that the aircraft is going to go down, and these incident didn't really put people off from air travel, that's because whether or not its safe to get on an airplane, we do need to get on an airplane. And as a passenger, you probably don't have a choice to dictate term as to which airplane the airline use.

Boeing did a cover up on those issues there is a thread on pdf which I made about 737 max it was made a joke by many but turned out to be true in the end.

Now regarding crash in Iran the plane that crashed in Iran was not Boeing 737 max but an earlier model of 737.

Still I would wait for investigation to blame any party and air crash investigation takes time. American and all the west cannot say that the plan was shot in just 3 day. If so they are liars obviously and there are political motives behind it cause it is too early for this kind of statement.

Whole first world failed to locate Malaysia air flight in so many years and they found the cause of Ukrainian plan crash without even seeing the wreckage. Please use a little common sense.

Here is the link to the old thread with all news from that time.

Malaysian MH370 flight perished due to internal sabotage (one of the pilots being the primary suspect). Its flight path has been retraced and reconstructed with satellite data as well as with aid of people who found its parts and contacted relevant authorities. Boeing 777 series is a marvel of engineering otherwise.

What happened in case of Iran, will become apparent very soon; American SBIRS network was monitoring the entire region and have seen it all.

Boeing 737 MAX was not up to aviation standards and undergoing complete revisit. Lesson for every aircraft developer in this story.

So you are saying that Boeing knowingly went ahead with MAX?
