At least 124 more patients of dengue have been admitted in different hospitals of Rawalpindi in the past 24 hours taking the toll to 3500.

Despite of spraying twice in the day and crackdown by district administration and health department dengue situation could not be improved.

A large number of children and women have been admitted to the hospitals. At least 10 people have died from dengue fever this year in Rawalpindi.

Meanwhile the number of dengue affected patients in Multan has reached 347 whereas larva has also been found from more than 1800 places.

Despite of teams, the disease is increasing instead of declining as a result of which the number of patients is continuously rising.

Besides this in Peshawar, dengue affected patients have crossed the 100 mark claiming the life of one person in Tehkal. In Kohat dengue victims have reached to 109.

Have they closed open gutters in every street or are they waiting for their own family to get sick before they give 2 hoots about the outbreak in other areas?

If they were serious they would have succeeded Dengue isnt that hard to get rid off.....Just requires awareness (which Pakistan suck at) and lots of dedication in keeping the breeding of mosquitoes on the low by AT LEAST DOING THEIR PART of keeping the gutters closed and not overflowing!

Oh and stop giving antibiotics for everything health dept! Dengue is viral not bacterial

its treatable in the sense they give tablet to reduce fever/pain. I read somewhere it has 25% or more mortality rate which is scary. Any docs here to give more info?
